Amigos de Naturaleza asombrosa, desde que llegué a la Argentina, hace un año apenas, digo apenas, porque el tiempo se va volando y me parece que fue ayer. He conocido una gran variedad de frutos, legumbres y verduras impresionante. Así mismo, muchas veces me sentí incómoda, al desconocer los nombres que acá tienen los mismos, por lo cual, me costó mucho poder ir sola a comprar en el supermercado. Por supuesto que he logrado aprender un poco más y seguiré adaptándome a las costumbres de este hermoso país, que nos recibió con sus brazos abiertos y su bandera ondeando.
Mi duda era si acá llamaban a esta fruta Limón o lima, pues en mi país es limón sea amarillo o verde.

Hoy he preparado un precioso post, cuyas imágenes han sido captadas, de camino a mi parque favorito, y en diferentes fechas. Lo bonito de esto, es que he visto el limonero desde el inicio de la floración, hasta que se desarrolla para su recolección. Lógicamente, ese arbusto no es de mi propiedad y la dueña es muy celosa de su limonero. Cada vez que paso para hacerle fotos, se asoma y me saluda cariñosamente. Creo que es como para marcar su espacio, aunque esté plantado en la acera pública. Puedes verlo mejor en la foto siguiente. Es un hermoso arbusto, cargado de nuevos frutos y de gran belleza. Una tarde iba de paseo al parque y me llamó la atención que el limonero comenzaba su etapa de floración. Claro, en la siguiente imagen verán una primera muestra de su fruto. No salió muy nítida, debido a que la señora en ese instante se asomó por la ventana y me saludó, yo me incomodé y bueno, esta fue la que pude salvar. Pero igualmente se puede apreciar el pequeño brote. Eso sucedió el día, 24 de agosto de 2022.
Ahora les contaré un poco acerca de las características del Limonero y sus Limas o limones como los llamamos en mi país. (Limón amarillo y limón verde)

Las siguientes fotografías fueron capturadas el día 06/09/22. Allí podemos apreciar, el comienzo de un nuevo fruto. Flor y capullos. **Es un real milagro, lo hermosa de nuestra magia natural.

Acá ya podemos notar el fruto del limón emergiendo de su flor. Ha sido una experiencia muy bella, pues me he ido llevando los mejores momentos de ese proceso multiplicador, del "Limonero de mi Camino". Estas imágenes son del 29 /09/22 (Si revisan las fotografías, podrán corroborar las fechas de las capturas)

La imagen que coloqué abajo, fue capturada el día 05/11/22, Solo pude tomar una, porque esa tarde y teníamos mucha prisa. Sin embargo, obtuve esta muestra que para mi recopilación es importante. Acá se observa que ya la fruta está un poco más desarrollada y se nota que será una lima amarilla.

Las dos fotografías de abajo fueron tomadas el 16/12/2022. Cerca del final del año, visité de nuevo el Limonero del Camino, se puede ver una gran protuberancia en forma de nariz que se desarrolla en la fruta. Es un indicador de que está madurando.

No me gustaría cerrar este post, sin presentar una fotografía donde aparecen las imágenes en 3 tiempos; la flor, el capullo y el fruto en su máximo esplendor, con una mata llena de limas que, como pueden ver, serán de un buen tamaño.

Lo más importante ha sido, lo que he sentido al construir este post, porque más que una publicación, entre todas las que he hecho hasta hoy, ha sido un trabajo de investigación, no científico, porque no es mi especialidad, claro, lo mejor ha sido que he hecho tal seguimiento, que he conseguido ver el limonero, cargado de nuevos frutos. Es una hermosa experiencia para los que aman la naturaleza en todo su esplendor.

Como acostumbro , eso sí, colocaré unicamente,las características principales del limonero , es decir su taxonomía pues es una fruta de todos conocida y muchas veces publicada. Así que sin más preámbulos, resumo lo siguiente:

La lima y el limón son de la misma familia, pero de diferentes especies por supuesto. Ambos son ácidos pero cítricos igualmente. El limón y lima, contienen vitamina C, y son los frutos más ácidos que existen en Latinoamérica. Posee algunas características que lo conviertenen medicinal, puesto que contribuye a fortalecer el sistema inmunológico, para evitar resfriados entre otros beneficios. Es utilizado en la gastronomía mundial. Asimismo con su cáscara se preparan diversos postres, jugos y las famosas limonadas que en mi país por cierto, lo mezclamos con Papelón y es algo genial al paladar.

Friends of Amazing Nature, since I arrived in Argentina, barely a year ago, I say barely, because time flies by, and it seems like yesterday. I have known a great variety of fruits, vegetables and vegetables impressive. Also, many times I felt uncomfortable, not knowing the names that have the same here, so it was very difficult for me to go alone to buy in the supermarket. Of course, I have managed to learn a little more, and I will continue adapting to the customs of this beautiful country, which welcomed us with open arms and waving its flag.
My doubt was whether this fruit was called lemon or lime here, because in my country it is lemon, whether it is yellow or green.

Today I have prepared a beautiful post, whose images have been captured, on the way to my favorite park, and on different dates. The nice thing about this, is that I have seen the lemon tree from the beginning of flowering, until it develops for harvesting. Logically, that bush is not my property and the owner is very jealous of her lemon tree. Every time I pass by to take pictures of it, she looks out and greets me affectionately. I think it's kind of marking its space, even though it's planted on the public sidewalk. You can see it better in the photo below. It is a beautiful shrub, loaded with new fruit and great beauty.(Taken on day, 01/ 01/ 2023.)

One afternoon I was taking a walk in the park, and it caught my attention that the lemon tree was beginning its flowering stage. Of course, in the following image you will see a first sample of its fruit. It was not very sharp, because the lady at that moment leaned out the window and beckoned me, I was uncomfortable and well, this was the one I could save. But you can still see the little sprout. That happened on August 08, 2022.
Now I will tell you a little about the characteristics of the lemon tree and its limes or lemons as we call them in my country. (Yellow lemon and green lemon)

The following pictures were taken on 06/09/22. In them we can appreciate the beginning of a new fruit. Flower and buds. It is a true miracle, the beauty of our natural magic.

Here we can already notice the lemon fruit emerging from its flower. It has been a very beautiful experience, because I have been taking with me the best moments of this multiplying process of the "Lemon tree of my Way". These images are from 29 /09/22 (If you review the photographs, you can corroborate the dates of the captures).

The image below was captured on 05/11/22, I was only able to take one, because we were in a hurry that afternoon. However, I did get this sample which is important for my compilation. Here you can see that the fruit is already a bit more developed and you can see that it will be a yellow lime.

The two photographs below were taken on 12/16/2022. Nearing the end of the year, I again visited the Limonero del Camino, you can see a large nose-shaped bump that develops on the fruit. It is an indicator that it is maturing.

I would not like to close this post, without presenting a photograph where the images appear in 3 times; the flower, the bud and the fruit in its maximum splendor, with a bush full of limes that, as you can see, will be of a good size.

The most important thing has been, what I have felt when building this post, because more than a publication, among all the ones I have done until today, it has been a research work, not scientific, because it is not my specialty, of course, the best thing has been that I have done such a follow up, that I have managed to see the lemon tree, loaded with new fruits. It is a beautiful experience for those who love nature in all its splendor.

Lime and lemon are from the same family, but different species, of course. Both are acidic, but citrus fruits after all. Lemon and lime contain vitamin C, and are the most acidic fruits that exist in Latin America. It has some characteristics that make it medicinal, since it contributes to strengthen the immune system, to avoid colds.
Among other benefits, it is used in gastronomy for countless recipes, especially with seafood. Also, its peel is used to prepare various desserts, and the famous lemonades that in my country, by the way, we mix it with Papelón , and it is very good for the palate.
