En Hive Argentina no hay fronteras para sus iniciativas[ESP-ENG]

Hello friends of Hive Argentina. Today I'm joining this month's initiative: Initiatives, yes or no?
I understand there isn't a single, definitive answer to give a specific reason. (Although this initiative did ask some specific questions to avoid sweeping responses.) In my experience, initiatives have been a kind of driving force for me, a new opportunity to write about topics I hadn't planned on. However, ideas often escape our creativity due to external factors and unforeseen situations.

Initiatives have been a great help, as they've been an important part of my creative process since I joined Hive and discovered them. I also have a soft spot for participating in contests of all kinds. Not only for the prizes, but for everything I learn, the socialization involved, and the contributions each creator makes to the reader. Some involve answering questions, writing a suggested story, completing challenges, finding photographs of landscapes with reflections, participating in trivia, riddles, etc. They catch my attention because they are new and diverse proposals that encourage me to publish with pleasure.

On the other hand, my participation in these initiatives is thanks to invitations from friends who know I enjoy them and that I'll join them. While I don't excuse some absences, inspiration often doesn't strike, and that's when friends reach out to invite me. Especially those related to poetry, specific stories, and challenges, which also contribute to my enjoyment.

There's a community where I've participated in various contests, challenges, and initiatives called Shadow Hunters. They promote weekly submissions of images with shadows, another with reflections, and there's a contest I frequently participate in where you have to guess which image is a shadow they've posted after viewing a list of previously selected winning photos. It's one of the most comprehensive and varied communities when it comes to contests, challenges, and initiatives. They're the ones who allow you to post without having to search high and low for a topic.

Now, there are other communities that promote challenges, such as Ladies of the Hive, whose main objective through their initiatives is to promote reflection and analysis by answering questions of general interest. Actually, there are many and varied ones, but if I were to list them all, I'd never finish.
Anyway, I declare myself a fan of initiatives, especially when I'm invited and the topic interests me.

Now I'll refer to the @hiveArgentina community, where I'm fortunate enough to be a moderator. This community offers us the opportunity to write freely from any country in the world. That is, all Hive members are free to participate in our initiatives. Therefore, if a Hive member lives in the Congo, for example, and is invited or reads about an initiative whose topic interests them, they can certainly participate. That's why I call them Initiatives Without Borders.

Of course, the community rules must be followed, as in all communities. Furthermore, each initiative has its own regulations, such as... The use of tags requires posting in two languages: the native language and the language of the community in question. Participants should read carefully to avoid any awkward corrections. Ultimately, we know the rules must be followed. We must produce quality work, pay attention to spelling, cite sources, and be original because we know that nowadays there are tools that are misused for convenience. So, pay attention because the curators know them very well. I'll leave you with this phrase: "Nothing is hidden between heaven and earth."

Suggestion

Since each initiative lasts only one per month, I propose a short poll using the usernames of all frequent participants, so they can choose the topic proposed by the community. This proposal will encourage active participation, foster healthy exchange among Hivers, and guarantee at least half of the effective participation. I know it wouldn't be seen as spam because those who have participated and posted already know the community and understand that we are responsible people.
