El día domingo, asistí a una feria, donde había una gran variedad de puestos de ventas, pues era una feria de estilo medieval. Me llamó la atención un puesto donde exhibían diferentes muñecos hechos de tela y otros materiales, simbolizando un grupo de duendecillos. La mesa expositora, tenía una hermosa representación de un bosque, donde los duendes ejercían sus roles del día a día. Unos estaban trabajando, otros descansando, por cierto, había un duende en especial, en un profundo estado de relajación.

Los duendes, también llamados: Gnomos, Pigmeos, enanos, hadas y otros, según creencias, se dice que son seres de la naturaleza. De acuerdo a muchas culturas, estos, son criaturas con características humanas, de estatura muy pequeña, que ocupan un lugar muy especial en los hogares donde los acogen.

Tradicionalmente, se han convertido en protectores espirituales, cuidan los jardines, dan muy buena suerte a quienes creen en ellos, además, protegen a la familia de los ladrones que quieran irrumpir donde ellos conviven.

Existen, según los conocedores del tema, los duendes juguetones, los bromistas, los que hacen maldades a quienes dañen la naturaleza. Algunos son usados como talismanes de la suerte y los ponen en lugares estratégicos en las viviendas para evitar que entren malas energías.

Los duendes son los guardianes de los elementos agua, aire, tierra y fuego. Ellos, según leyendas, se convierten en protectores de los niños al nacer y también los acompañan al cumplir su ciclo vital.

En fin, en esa hermosa mesa de exhibición había unos duendecillos muy graciosos. Entre ellos me llamó la atención los trillizos que, envueltos en su mantita de hojas, eran protegidos por el resto. Había dos señoras que por su aspecto ejercían el rol de guías por su experiencia. Un roble cortado que estaba comenzando a echar hojas nuevas, las hadas protegiendo el ambiente, el fauno, el niño dentro de un repollo, es decir, todo me encantó.

Pues bien, la historia de los duendes se remonta a la antigüedad, como criaturas mitológicas, mágicas o fantásticas. Son protagonistas de historias y cuentos infantiles y juveniles

En la imagen anterior, pueden observar los tres gnomos de la planta mandrágora. Realmente ha sido un hermoso trabajo manual el de estas personas. Cuando nos retiramos del lugar, ya quedaban muy pocos muñecos para la venta. Lo que significa que hay muchos que los buscan para llevar a sus casas y protegerse de los peligros o buscar la buenaventura.

On Sunday, I attended a fair, where there was a great variety of stalls, as it was a medieval style fair. I was struck by a stall where they exhibited different dolls made of cloth and other materials, symbolising a group of goblins. The display table had a beautiful representation of a forest, where the goblins exercised their daily roles. Some were working, others resting, and there was one goblin in particular, in a deep state of relaxation.

Elves, also called: Gnomes, Pygmies, dwarves, fairies and others, according to beliefs, are said to be beings of nature. According to many cultures, they are creatures with human characteristics, of very small stature, who occupy a very special place in the homes where they are welcomed.

Traditionally, they have become spiritual protectors, they look after gardens, they bring good luck to those who believe in them, and they protect the family from thieves who want to break into their homes.

According to experts in the field, there are playful goblins, pranksters, who do evil deeds to those who harm nature. Some are used as lucky talismans and placed in strategic places in homes to prevent bad energies from entering.

Goblins are the guardians of the elements, water, air, earth and fire. They, according to legends, become protectors of children at birth and also accompany them as they complete their life cycle.

Anyway, on that beautiful display table there were some very funny little sprites. Among them I was struck by the triplets who, wrapped in their blanket of leaves, were protected by the rest. There were two ladies who looked like guides because of their experience. A cut oak tree that was beginning to put out new leaves, the fairies protecting the environment, the faun, the child inside a cabbage, that is to say, everything enchanted me.

Well, the history of elves goes back to antiquity, as mythological, magical or fantastic creatures. They are the protagonists of stories and tales for children and young people.

In the picture above, you can see the three mandrake plant gnomes. It was really a beautiful handiwork of these people. When we left the place, there were very few dolls left for sale. This means that many people are looking for them to take home to protect themselves from dangers or to look for good fortune.
