First Time Trying Crab Noodles and Sweet and Sour Chicken at Pak Tem Cafe and Resto

I went on a long journey which was actually not far from where I live, namely in one of the cities known as the city of Juang or in other words the city of Bireuen. My friend and I visited one of the many aesthetic cafes there.

Located on the outskirts of a position right in front of rice fields, this building has a quite cool outdoor feel. With views and fresh air directly from the rice field breeze.

Interestingly, even though I chose the area to relax in the autdor, I didn't feel the slightest heat under the low roof of the entire cafe area. I think this is the effect of the piercing rice field winds during the day. So even though the heat of the sun is not comparable to the fairly strong breeze blowing.

Stop for a moment here, just to fill your stomach after touring the city. Of the many cafes, this cafe is one that opened very quickly. I arrived there at 11.25 but they had all the menus ready and even the entire area was neatly arranged. Even though other cafes close to this area are still closed.

The complete address of the cafe is on Jalan Elak Bireun City, Aceh. So, when we got there, we were given a welcome drink, namely warm water. I think this is a very suitable drink when the sun is hot and you are too tired, just wash your dry throat, simple but very meaningful when we arrive with a tired body.

My friend and I started looking at the menu, and chose various menus, which are quite cheap here. This menu very complete, starting from seafood, snacks, drinks and many other types.

I chose the main menu which is fresh and is currently viral in this city. The main menu is coconut jelly ice cream and mango squah drink. Followed by crab noodles and sweet and sour chicken white rice.

Young Coconut Strawberry Ice Cream

Actually there are 4 menu choices for young coconut ice cream, there are strawberry, chocolate, vanilla and there is also a menu that mixes these three flavors. Of course the prices vary a lot, but because I ordered a lot of other dishes with fairly large portions, I just ordered something simple, namely strawberry flavored young coconut ice cream.

The first menu that came was young coconut ice cream with a strawberry variant. The price and portions offered are very cheap and surprised me. The price is Idr. 15,000, here the young coconut topping is very complete, of course there is young coconut, ice cream, jelly, bread, they even add grape accents and Astor topping on top. I think it's very cheap and fits perfectly. Even the prices for the portions they serve are far beyond my expectations.

Well, the taste, the strawberry ice cream variant that I chose is very sweet, very suitable to be combined with young coconut, white bread and jelly. The aroma is just right and the texture of the ice cream is really soft. One more thing, the young coconut is very good, not hard or soft, really quality young coconut.

For those of you who come here, I highly recommend this menu. It tasted incredibly delicious, while waiting for the other dishes, my friend and I were full first by eating young coconut ice cream.

Crab Noodles

The next menu is crab noodles, fried nyemek flour noodles with typical Acehnese spices which are enough to whet my appetite. What's more interesting is that the combination of spices with noodles and crab makes me unable to stop enjoying this dish.

The aroma of the crab is not fishy and it is cooked in several pieces, making it easier for us to enjoy it. You don't need tools, just bite with the help of a spoon and you can enjoy the crab meat filling.

The meat is perfectly cooked, the combination of crab meat enhances the taste quality of these noodles. Ahh, this is the perfect crab noodle in my opinion. It's very difficult to find delicious noodles that suit your taste.

Just look at this plate which is very complete, pickled onions, melinjo crackers, cucumber. This is a typical Acehnese crab noodle dish which is perfect. And interestingly, these noodles are made with one whole crab, which is quite large in my opinion. Well, the price itself is very cheap per portion, only IDR 25,000 for this large portion.

Sweet and Sour Chicken

Very surprising, when the first portion of sweet and sour chicken came, I couldn't believe that this was the portion. Because the price is very cheap, IDR 25,000, we got a portion for 2 to 3 people of sweet and sour chicken. However, here you need to know that I ordered the rice separately, I ordered 1 portion of rice for IDR 5000.

The taste itself is definitely sour, sweet and spicy. The combination of sweet and sour sauce with pineapple pieces makes this sweet and sour sauce very fresh. In fact, interestingly the chicken meat had previously been dry fried in flour. So when combined with sweet and sour sauce from pineapple, it fits perfectly on the tongue.

My friend and I enjoyed it by mixing sweet and sour spices with warm white rice. This combination made me and my friends not stop eating. The funny thing is that we finished this dish in no time. Even though the portion is for three people, we just finished it together. Haha, forget about dieting for a moment.

Ice Mango Squash

A fresh drink, with a combination of mango syrup and soda and containing basil seeds, in my opinion is very delicious. The price is affordable with only IDR. 15,000 is enough to help quench your thirst on a hot day like this.

I stirred this drink and the combination of flavors was quite surprising perfect. The sweet and sour and certainly very fresh mango aroma can be found and the sensation of a fresh drink with a spicy order is quite helpful for us this time. This is the right order when choosing a heavy meal like this

So, for those of you who are visiting the city of Bireun, Aceh Indonesia, don't forget to visit one of these restaurants. Apart from the delicious food, this cafe and restaurant has a really cool atmosphere for relaxing with the family.

After enjoying my food I walked around this place and took several pictures throughout the cafe area. There is a children's play area and a karaoke room which coincidentally I couldn't take pictures.

However, I like the concept of th cafe, the feel is open but very cool, because there are lots of supporting properties such as protective umbrellas. So it is enough to create an aesthetic atmosphere and customers will definitely feel satisfied. Apart from that, this place also has an upper floor like a rooftop which can be enjoyed as a place to relax with views of the rice fields and the entire cafe area.

After walking around, I didn't forget to take fun photos in an aesthetic place to be stylish like many people do nowadays, right, haha. I take and style as best as possible to get good photos. My friend took my photo, he was very enthusiastic about photographing me in various poses, haha.

This is definitely one of the must-do things for me, when visiting a beautiful place like this. And it's not certain that in the future you will have the opportunity to stop here. However, I can't miss this place when I visit here, and try different dishes with many variants.
