How To Make Soft Baked Pumpkin Cakes

Preparing a soft sponge, with a touch of various sweet flavors greatly affects the taste of the cake served.


The softness of the sponge, influenced by the level of maturity and perfect elasticity is what we want from the results we get from baking pumpkin sponge cake, because the success or failure of the sponge cake all depends on the level of swelling and maturity of the sponge. Did you know that pumpkin is not only processed as a dessert or only eaten by steaming, but making pumpkin that is processed by baking with a mixture of various ingredients will definitely produce a delicious taste.

Pumpkin is often used as a dish in your home, serving steamed pumpkin is common and easy, but making something different by processing it into delicious and different food by creating pumpkin flavor in cake is something I have never done. A little pumpkin with the addition of eggs and flour will make this dish taste like a delicious processed food. Very easy and of course with simple ingredients that are easy to find in your home kitchen.




Ingredients

  • 1 cup steamed ground pumpkin
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • teaspoon vanilla powder
  • teaspoon of baking soda**

How To Make

Step 1

The first step, Wash and cut the pumpkin into several parts.

Step 2

Then steam the pumpkin for about 20 minutes or until the pumpkin is really soft.

Next, puree the steamed pumpkin until it's really smooth, set aside first

Step 4

Prepare a baking sheet for baking sponge by greased with butter and sprinkled with flour.

Step 5

Then before beating the eggs, preheat the oven, Mixer or beat 4 eggs with sugar until fluffy.

Then before the mixer don't forget to add vanilla powder.

Next add baking soda and cooking oil to the dough.

Mix again or stir until evenly distributed, then add a little at a time the flour.

Next enter 1 cup of pumpkin that has been mashed while slowly the dough is still in the mixer.

Then the mixer or stir again until the dough is perfectly evenly distributed

Finally, slowly pour the sponge dough into the mold

Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, here I still use a manual oven so I stabilize the temperature on the stove over low heat.

Step 13

When it is cooked, remove the cake from the sponge mold, then wait until it cools down, Finally, spread butter on the top of the sponge and sprinkle with the topping or cheese according to your taste.

I've never really had pumpkin cake before but it sure looks like it will be yummy to taste, unfortunately finding pumpkins over here in my country is a very difficult task 😅

Really, I think pumpkins are very easy to find in
also in foreign countries, hopefully one day we can meet.
