The most valuable lesson I learned the hard way in crypto@suseona pulse contest.

As a final-year nursing student, my life is split between two completely different worlds. On one hand, I am in the hospital wards learning how to save lives, deal with patients, and master clinical procedures. On the other hand, I am navigating the Web3 world, trying to grow my crypto portfolio and understand the blockchain also to learn trading. But the biggest lesson I ever learned didn't come from a textbook or a crypto chart it came from a massive mistake I made by chasing shortcuts.

A while back, during a very stressful semester, I was feeling overwhelmed. Nursing school takes up all my time, and I was desperately looking for a way to make quick money on the side without putting in extra hours. I wanted a fast result that was when I fell for a flashy crypto platform that promised massive, guaranteed daily returns, they give signals everyday and you pay for it. It looked like the perfect escape from my financial stress, instead of doing proper research, I let greed and impatience take over because I was a newbie looking for way to solve my financial crisis and alleviate suffering. I put a lot of my hard earned savings into it.

You can guess how the story ended. Within a couple of weeks, the platform completely vanished, rug-pulled, and took all my money with it on telegram. I felt completely broken. I had to face the bitter reality that I had lost money I couldn't afford to lose, all because I wanted a quick fix.

That painful experience taught me the most valuable lesson of my life: True growth whether in your career, your finances, or your personal life takes time, patience, and actual work. There are absolutely no shortcuts. In nursing, you cannot skip classes or clinical postings and expect to become a good nurse who protects patient safety. The exact same rule applies to crypto and finance; if an opportunity sounds too easy and promises instant wealth without any effort, it is almost certainly a trap.

Today, I look at things very differently. I have embraced the slow, steady grind. I focus on building my skills, doing deep research before making financial moves, and staying consistent with my studies.
