From Patient Grind to Arena Dominance: Why Getting Oridum Was Only Half the Battle
Greetings,
How are you doing, fellow Splinter player?
It is a beautiful end of November with a lot of surprises for the players.
My target to maximize Oridum was not easy because the prices of the asset kept rising for weeks.
I finally got the Hive back dollar necessary to complete the purchase of the seven remains cards.
My melee fire warrior is ready for full operation, with an interesting ability unlocked in the arena only if you have the maximum experienced summoner in your collection.
--
I am fully equipped with the summoners in my collection, but I will train in the reserve section of the game to see the valuable addition of Oridum in full capacity in my setup.
--
A-/ Missing Cards
I had Oridum at the second level of experience for a long time. It was too expensive to get the rest of the cards because an internal buy pressure for this card was pushing price too high.
My patient paid because at some point I had the only option to buy individual cards to make it to the maximum level.

Once I got the rest of the abilities available in the card. I had to find the right summoner to use Graybrow to the fullest.
In my collection, I only had in Modern format Lorkus and Akane that are available at level 2 or 3 to compete with the opposition.
It is not enough to exploit the reflection of magic on the Oridum max out setting. I have to look for the rest of the cards missing on my Summoner list to get the entire potential of Oridum active on the battlefield.
--
B-/ Searching for Summoners
I look for the summoners capable to bring Oridum in front row with devastating potential against his enemy regardless of type of combat.
My summoner Akane was the cheapest to bring to maximum level, considering the Dragon can also bring to the game powerful dragon archers.
I was happy to get this card to the max level because Oridum has touched me the first time I saw his performance against serious warriors and tanker.
My action right after I got Oridum to level four was to win in the arena, not considering the limitation of my current summoners.
I took some defeat less than the total number of battles I played in this season. Testing in the wild format where I got maxed out summoner seems to be the best place to explore the potential of Oridum.
My interest to the cards that can join Oridum to the battle grew faster than normal. This led to the three combination of cards to meet the most of the ruleset requirement on the strategic aspect of this constitution of the team.
Akane is powerful and shows enormous potential for my plan to boos the role of Oridum in the arena.
The limitation of mana is not a problem when I consider using cards with low mana and healing abilities.
It was clear that the modern format was the right place to use Oridum, but the wild format could be the perfect playground to unleash the power of Oridum in combination with Quix Devious at the highest level.
C-/ Combination in Wild Format
I have played in the arena with Oridum both in wild and modern format. I did not possess the resource to keep battling and training.
The only option remaining for learning the best way to combine cards around Oridum is to play in practice mode.
The energy cost is zero, and the customized setting allows the trainees to get the right environment to test strategies.

I first pulled up the Modern format challenge with the legendary set to valid. I got a serious correction in all the five battles I engaged in. Also, I thought that the level of the cards in my collection will be at the highest in the training mode due to the selection of expert type of opponent.
The situation forces me to turn to the wild format, all cards accepted to play the Wild format with the best element I got in my collection.

D -/ Win rate performance in Training
I would like to share at this point of my experimentation the five battles I got in the Wild format training mode.
If it was possible to play the Oridum card, I will absolutely build the best team possible around this melee fire card.
It was a magnificent victory of Oridum with Devious.
--
I was not able to bring Quix in the arena, so Lorkus level two was facing a level eight summoner.
You will not believe what happened as I was losing all my cards, Oridum resurrected and destroy the rest of the opposition.
--
I lost that battle.
--
Perfect victory. I did not even have to use the martyr ability next to Oridum

--
Magnificent work of Oridum in the arena.

--
The result was encouraging, with one battle lost after five battles completed at Champion League level opposition.
What do you think about this performance when Oridum is playing at the best of his form in my lineup?
E -/ Tips as Oridum enters your Battle plans
Oridum like most of the cards in legendary are very powerful. If you plan to purchase some cards of high caliber like Graybrow please consider the summoners that you will use to set free the abilities on your special cards.
I knew that I did not hold the right set of summoner to play Oridum like a pro, but I got the cards because it was super rare to get the individual card.
The steps that should follow this asset acquisition is the rental of powerful summoner at max level to use Oridum in both format.
Also, I can get a nice delegation from any in the community who read my progress in the game and want to see my lineup cause some trouble in the leaderboard. The adversaries are force to boost their cards in the game.
