HIVE OPEN MIC #131 - NIGERIAN ANTHEM || COVER BY D4MUSIC @obaro "ENG-ESP"
Hello everyone one!
How are you doing at the moment? I hope I met you doing very well...
So, this is community hive open mic (I said that in the intro) lol.. and this community is known for something special.
The open mic in this community is known for music. Musicians around the globe come around every week to render what they have either by singing or playing the musical instrument.
This is week 131 and we are going to be working with the theme "NATIONAL PRIDE"..
Oh well, I must say I'm really happy with the spotlight artist, as this topic will unite a lot of people together and educate us about the differences, specialties, uniqueness and beauty of our homelands.
I am a Nigerian and if you will recall, I did a video where I sang a song to celebrate my Country at 62.
Hmmmm, Nigeria has a lot to be proud of, from Natural resources, to intelligent citizens, to good weather, to lack of natural disasters and so on.
The only thing we might not be proud of is our leaders!
Well, we hope everything gets better just like my brother @onos-f said in his post.
So today, I decided to sing the National Anthem of my country as a patriotic citizen.
Nigeria got her independence in the year 1960, in the month of October and on the first day from our colonial masters, the British!
Since then, we've been independent and growing at a good pace until the whole system got destroyed by bad leadership.
I personally as a person strongly believe Nigeria will be great again just as my friends, (The Venezuelans) that believe Venezuela will be great again.
Thanks for visiting dear friends.
Kindly enjoy the song!

LYRICS
Arise, O Compatriots
Nigeria’s Call Obey
To serve our fatherland
With love and strength and faith
The labour of our heroes past,
shall never be in vain
To serve with heart and might,
One Nation bound in freedom, peace and unity

My Bro how are you? you have done something very beautiful with your country's Anthem, I congratulate you for always doing incredible work and congratulations to your beautiful country, you, and all who are here representing Nigeria, rock and we love you very much... who we don't love, like you, it's politicians hahahaha, they don't deserve love!!!
Thank you for your words for my country, I also want to see Venezuela free again as well as Nigeria, I ask a lot so that not only our nations, but all those nations that are victims of abuse of power and oppression, can be prosperous and happy! !!
Bro, since you put the lyrics of the National Anthem, please don't forget to cite a source where the lyrics are, it's basically a backup, if you can search and edit so you can put that information, let me know in your answer to check okay?
You are great Obaro, thank you very much for joining us in this edition of the Hive Open Mic, we are waiting for you next week again ¡You Rock! 🙌😀💛
You man... Thank for this great love you show to me week by week.
I really appreciate this encouraging comments of yours.
I know about the lyrics sourcing... I completely forgot because I was do tired before uploading yesterday night.
Thanks.
I'll edit it right away brother!
Ah man - this strikes a chord and rings true for me in South Africa as well. We love our beautiful country, we love our people - but we don't trust our Politicians and there is a lot of corruption.
There is a mixture of fear about economic collapse and following the paths that countries like Venezuela and our neighbour Zimbabwe suffered, and then there is the courage and passion to do what we can to help fix things. My main career is finding places in South Africa for potential Renewable Energy developments, which is very important as we already suffer rolling black-outs and some of our coal power plants are very old now.
Wuao!!! Amigo @obaro tienes una extraordinaria y hermosa voz y aquí cantaste con el corazón tu himno. Felicitaciones👏👏👏👏🎶🎶🎶🌄🌿🎤💫🎙️🌹🌟🔥🎵🎵🎵🌻🌸💥🎧🌷🙏😃❤️💚💜💙🧡💞
Wow!!! Friend @obaro you have an extraordinary and beautiful voice and here you sang your anthem with your heart. congratulations
Thanks dear mother.
I always appreciate your support!
Where you able to sing along?
Wow - you sing with such passion! All the best wishes for my fellow African country Nigeria!
From what I've heard of Nigeria - it is even more of a melting pot of cultures than South Africa! I understand that the North is predominantly Muslim and the South is mainly Christian?
Brother @jasperdick ... Thanks for the kind comment and encouraging words.
You are kind of right about what you might have heard or researched about.
The North has larger population of Muslims...and the South has larger population of Christians
But the two regions have both Muslims and Christians.
Where did you get this knowledge from?
I see you somewhat have interest in Nigeria.
I am interested in Nigeria as it is a growing economy in Africa. I think the total size of Nigeria's economy is about the same as South Africa's but that your population is much larger.
I think a lot of the rest of the world thinks of Nigeria and has probably only heard of the Boko Haram attacks on villages. There probably is a lot more that the rest of the world should learn, and hopefully the good news as well?
Nigeria seems to be adopting HIVE a lot earlier and faster than South Africa - I wonder why that is?
I guess this is because a lot of Nigerians picked mores interest and believes in the system
Well South Africa needs to wake up! Hahaha - well the few of us that are on here will try get others on too but I think it will be years before it is widely adopted here!
Yeah, you have a lot of work to do...
You all.
I seriously like the passion you have for hive.
This just increased my pride in you,!
Well done brother.
