The over-the-top VO work is a feature not a bug. 😂
I love this series so much! It's been ages since I played any of these early games in the series, but I've got DW8 and DW9 on the PS5 right now and it proves that once you settle on a system that works, you can just... keep doing it. (Provided you don't go the COD route and make a new game every year and oversaturate yourself)

Yeah I'm glad they didn't over do it, and ruin the franchise. I only played the demo of DW 9 so haven't had the full experience. I did notice that they didn't seem to put the same effort into the cutscenes as they did in the earlier games.
But, the combat was really good as always.
I spent the day messing around with the ps2, but sadly it's not working. I do have a slim one, but haven't found the power supply yet. It's torture, because I really want to get on and play some DW 4, and try out 5 for the first time.
Oh man that's brutal! Sorry to hear the hardware hasn't been working!
