What role do/did your parents play in your life?

My parents are mean everything to me even though we are not close, I live far away from them both but they are always this connection no day passes, and I won’t talk to them on phone to see how they are doing. My Dad is my number one mentor and I look up to him for almost everything even as I am a grownup boy now, for the fact that he is always there for me I will always keep running to him whenever I need help haha. For my mom she is an overseer in my life, you might be wondering how? She will always ask me what am up to and how she will help me achieve whatever it is.

Has your relationship with your parents changed over the years?

Well, here I would say a big yes! As I grew up little by little my relationship with them changed, as I would always lie and rest on my mother’s belly that was when I was still young but as I grow up and maybe being away from home for long I can’t do that anymore. They are some discussions I will rather take to my pastor rather than them. I will always say those words “I LOVE YOU” to most especially my mother but now I hardly say it haha I find it difficult to say but I know I do love them deep down.

Is there anything you wish your parents would do （or would have done) differently?

Oh yeah, they are quite some things I wish my parents had done differently. Like I wish they built their own house in their hometown so whenever I go visiting I won't have to stay in my uncle I aunty's place. Am a type that does like a private life so I would be more comfortable in my own parent's house. And I had wished they had given birth to just three kids 😅🤣🤣 you might find that funny but seriously the hardship we are facing now I think it would have been less if the family number is not much. All five of us need to go to school and have no money we now have to work or learn a trade to assist ourselves. Lastly, I wish my dad had listened to our advice for him to invest his money instead of giving it out to scammers. He was recently successfully scammed 2million plus naira.

How are you similar to your parents?

Well, I am not too similar to my parents, I will say I am much more similar to my grandparents in looks and character. A quiet and humble young man, who talks less listens more. My parents can dance but I can't 🤣🤣.

How are you different from your parents?

I am different from them, in looks I got the looks of my grandpa. And I don't shout but my parents most especially my Dad he shouts even if you are both discussing something secret 🤣 his voice is always high. My father is a pastor and I am not🙌🤣.

Do you prefer a more involved relationship with your parents or more distance?

I would prefer a more involved relationship with them. Because I know they will never betray me. And they will always wish well for me. And I will learn how to become a good parent in the future 🌝 so yes I prefer an Involved relationship with them. I would have shared lots of pictures of my parents, but those niggas are not picture freaks they are always behind the scene😁🤣. I wonder how my sister made them to agree to take the selfie with her😁😅.
