Weekendengagement: All about the new year celebrations 💃🥵

The festivities are almost over, am glad we all made it into this new year. Last weekend was a hot one for me, I guess some people never was busy during that time but my case was different.

I had marked down places to visit but as soon as we got to the weekend that we were almost crossing over it wasn't easy for me, I could not even go to church service that evening I had a whole lot to cook, I was automatically a woman 🤣🤣 I could not even call my friends and relatives wishing them a happy new year.

Well, these were my weekend engagements.
On new year's Eve, I storm the market, bought all we need for fried rice and white soup. That day I was so weak I just ran straight to bed I couldn't even attend the cross-over service. As soon as it was the new year I woke up very early started preparing all the eatables. We were going to have many visitors.

I and my cousin were in the kitchen, we had no sisters around to assist or that we can assist 😁 so we had to do it all ourselves. Mummy was just in her room playing loud Christian jams from her new DVD player. We started preparing the fried rice, truly speaking we had no idea of how to prepare fried rice even mummy know nothing about it. Thanks to the internet I quickly searched the internet and downloaded a video of how to prepare African fried rice.

After going through the video we started cooking. It was a whole lot of work from washing and chopping the carrots, green pepper, cucumber, salad, and the rest. To cut the long story short 🤣🤣 we cooked the food and it was delicious how did I know, people that taste the food give good comments I was even giving a tip for my good cooking.

After cooking the fried rice we moved to the white soup and pounded yam, that one was easy because it was a native food, I pounded the yam and it was smooth. So these were my weekend engagements. Very hectic am very happy it is all over. But what annoyed me the most was how I couldn't visit any of my friends on new year's day. Feel free to feed your eyes with the pictures from that day.
