A trip to Madrid and some of the sights
Memories never fade, but remain somewhere deeply etched in my memory and I always remember them fondly. So, reviewing various photos from some places I visited, I found wonderful photos of Madrid, about which I could not write a post, but on this occasion my memories awoke and I want you to travel with me through the streets of Madrid.
Madrid is a royal metropolis, it is very difficult to visit because every corner of this city is worth a visit, it simply entices tourists to stay and spend a lot of time in one place.
Madrid is the capital of Spain, and all directions of luxurious architecture from medieval to modern architecture can be recognized in it.
No matter how great the attraction of this city is, time is always a problem, it always seems like a little time for everything I would like to visit. Somehow I planned my time and visited some attractions that can be seen on the go and without paying extra tickets.
As a true work of art, the Palacio de Comunicaciones, one of the attractive and most famous Madrid buildings located on the Plaza de Cibeles.
Today, in this building where every detail seems to me to be specially designed, the Mayor of Madrid resides. Because of its extraordinary towers, the Spaniards also call it a wedding cake.
On the outside of this imposing building is a fountain, where two lions are shown pulling carriages and on the carriages is the ancient goddess Sybil.
Puert del sol or in translation the gate of the sun:
From this place, the Spanish zero kilometer is marked, literally the place from which all distances are measured. Street signs are also interesting, each with a plaque with the name and symbol.
This place is said to be the heart of Madrid, this square is always full of people, various events are held all in all, so it is considered one of the important works of Madrid life.
An unavoidable point on this square is one of Madrid's symbols or statues, a bear eating strawberries from a tree. If you remember their coat of arms, you will know that this bear also appears on the coat of arms of Madrid.
Puerta de Alcala:
This large neoclassical gate, almost 30 meters high, elegant entrance door made of granite, decorated facades with sculptures and decorative reliefs, leaves a really strong impression.
And it is located on Independence Square, it is a national monument but also another symbol of Madrid.
Las Ventas:
A trip to Madrid would not be interesting if you miss the Spanish bullfight (arena intended for bullfighting).
Spain and Madrid are the most recognizable in the world for their bullfighting, where bullfights are fought. The most famous arena is Las Ventas, which is located in the eastern part of the city.
The arena only works on certain days, it is not always open, but in essence I managed to photograph at least something.
The city of Madrid is very rich in cultural heritage, so there are many attractions, I singled out some that were very interesting to me, so I wanted to share with you my memories of a short trip through the streets of Madrid that I remember fondly.

It is such a lovely city full of culture and amazing atmosphere. Anyone who has the opportunity to stay there a little longer than just a few days will be able to explore all the wonderful barrios. But even if you're there for just a day or two, you will get to experience the wonderful, vibrant city any time of the year.
Great photos!
Thank you for your kind words, the city is full of culture, but it is also a very lively city, it is a pity that I did not have more time!
