Colorful FungiFriday
Hello, shroom lovers, and a very happy #FungiFriday!
It has been a bit of a rough week, both here on the blockchain - read my previous post if you're interested - and also off-chain IRL at work. Thankfully, most of the work stuff got sorted out earlier today.
So now, in order to deal with the on-chain stuff and get rid of my still lingering mixed feelings about posting - I am just going to publish this little post here to get back into it, nice and easy with a few of my many mushroom photos.
There's really not that much to write in this post. I believe but I have no way of knowing that all four of these fungi are pretty common and definitely not very extraordinarily looking.
Except for their colors, at least two of them
And so I decided to amp up their presentation a little by
- assembling them into a funky collage and
- adding color with the frames
While staying within the given color scheme and not making the whole composition too over the top.
It's looking pretty balanced to me. What do you think?
I know these kinds of frames are not everyone's cup of tea, and to be honest, I hardly ever do this kind of collage but today I felt like making one and I'm glad I did because I enjoyed the process of a little, very easy Photoshop.
For you purists out there 😁 here are the original photos, slightly edited and cropped.
And this is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
Have a great weekend!
Cheers,

Great photos and great collage. I love fungi photography too! Shroooooms
Hah - how did I know that you looooove shrooms 🤣
The colours are great indeed. Especially that last one with dark purple hat.
And the yellow... cause it's yellow :D
Let me take a wild guess here - hmmm - you like yellow? 😆 Thanks, @ewkaw
How did you know :o
I just read the rant post. Unfortunately there are always people that will want to trick others and gain something with the least amount effort even if it is unfair towards other participants. They don't care bout the place and it's long term success and others. They will cheat until they get caught. Fast money.
Yeah, I don't understand those people. Totally different mentality than mine. Thankfully, for the most part, I am good with what I am seeing here on Hive. The thing that makes me really mad is that the cheaters' actions have this unseen power over me that is killing my creativity. Well, I'm working on it :) Thanks for reading my rant!
