Healthy lifestyle for a longer life.
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. We all pray for long life, but the truth is that only a few people are living a lifestyle that ensures long life; many of us are indulged in lifestyles that can actually cut our lives short, and despite the warnings, we still find ourselves indulged in them. We are all humans, and we all know that there are things that if we do, will help us live longer and healthier, and then there are things that if we do, can cut our lives short, but funny enough, we find ourselves easily doing those things that can cut our lives short but complain and lament how difficult it is to do those things that can help us live a longer and more healthy life.

Trust me when I say those things that harm us we enjoy more and better than those things that can actually help us; we all complain about 30. I used exercise and how it is stressful and how tiring it is, but we can sit for 2 hours or even 3 hours drinking beer and we will never complain or feel tired of sitting in the same position for hours. This is a typical example of which many of us are guilty of, myself included: a 30-minute exercise and I am already feeling like I am being enslaved or maltreated, but hours at a bar consuming alcohol feel like freedom.
Aside from being reluctant or feeling very lazy to want to do those things that actually help us enjoy a healthy life, another thing that stands as a hindrance is the cost of doing those healthy things. A weekly subscription at the gym is 12,000 naira and 15,000 naira in some, while a monthly subscription is 30,000 and above, so if I want to register for the gym, I will be using about half my monthly salary to do so. What about other needs? Also, the other day I went to the fruit section in the market, and I was shocked with the price of apples; a very small green apple was priced at 1,000 naira. If I decide to be eating fruit daily or at least 4 times a week, will my walker be able to do that for me comfortably?

When you look at the cost of living a healthy lifestyle combined with our laziness towards the exercise part of that lifestyle, we just tend to give up on it and then do the best we can by doing the ones we can easily do, which includes staying hydrated and doing some homework out and hoping that will be enough. A healthy lifestyle is really good; it helps you enjoy your life until the day you leave this earth. I will always lean towards a healthy lifestyle even if I don't live it completely, but I am giving it my best.

The truth is that healthy lifestyle is hard to live if we are not determined. Things that will benefit your body are mostly bitter while the ones ruining it are always sweet
