The fear of rejection will keep you single.

Hello, everyone.

No doubt, love is a beautiful thing. It is even more beautiful when the right people come together to make it blossom. Don't let what you see on social media make you feel like true love doesn't exist, and you keep rejecting the love sent your way. If you believe everything you see on social media, you will stay single for a very long time. This particular topic had to come last😂, I felt attacked and like it was personal, like maybe somebody wants to mock my singleness. Even in the community post, those of us without partners were addressed as single Pringles. I know other singles out there feel attacked too, I cannot be the only one feeling this way.

Couples get to share what they love about their partners. Well, being single does not stop us from having crushes here and there, but until you take the right steps, you will only remain a crush, and it is more painful when you are only crushing from a distance and you are not even getting noticed. A time will come when the single Pringles too will find love, and I doubt the hive platform will contain us all as we will flaunt those pictures and videos with every given opportunity. Y'all should watch out.

How will other users with partners be using a photo of them and their partner as a cover image, while mine will be a Canva-designed image, and you are saying I shouldn't feel attacked? I am single to stupor for so many reasons. I want to stay single, but then there is this girl in my church. @abenad will think she is the only one who looks forward to Sundays because of the opportunity to see her crush in church. Well, sorry to disappoint you; there are many of us on board. I got my eyes on her for a quite sometime now, but there is not much conversation, just hi and hello and some funny jokes whenever we see each other.

She is dark-skinned and very respectful—not the Gen Z baddie type, and that is what I like most about her; her smile lights up my day and gladens my heart. To cut the long story short, she is a dazzling beauty. Well, in church, she is even an usher, so there is no way one can avoid seeing her as she keeps moving around carrying out her duty as an usher without knowing she is distracting a Christian brother while doing so. For her sake, I have even thought about joining the ushering department. We keep making eye contact and end up smiling; this alone makes me look forward to Sundays in church.

You all must know that feeling that comes with love during the early days. Well, I am getting that feeling now, though she is still a crush. I don't know if I should be saying all these things, but I am glad the Hiveghana community gave us a room to do so. Don't ask me why I have not told her my mind, please 😂.
