The Egusi soup

Today i just want to give few hints about an Egusi soup i had to make ,
Well it happened that my mum was the one making it at first, she got an emergency call to go do some stuffs at work and so she had to leave in a hurry ,
She has already set almost everything ready to cook it.
That includes;

  • Fresh blended pepper and tomatoes,
    Blended crayfish,
    Maggi cubes,(known)
    Salt ,
    Some sliced onions,
    Vegetables, red palm oil,
    The blended Egusi,
    Some stuck fish and meat, etc..

So it turns out that before she left, she has already added the oil and blended crayfish with both the tomatoes and oil..
She have also cooked and spiced the meat already too.

She was almost done fryin the Egusi and that was when i was called to continue..

All i did was to get the egusi fried egusi into another pot..
Then i got the fish, stock fish and meat ..
Added all of them to the pot and stirred it with the Egusi ..
I added some water and little palm oil to it too

Next thing i did was to get the vegetables,
Washed it

I had to slice it like 2 to 3times and still ,it looked some how big self .

Well i added all of it to the pot .
Added both Maggi and salt and then cooked for 15 minutes, and that was all ..

Soup was all set and ready ,

Even before my mum came back i had already eaten and slept off..🤭

The Egusi soup is actually one of my best soups because it's actually quicker and easier for me to make.
