Mushroom Monday - November shrooms recent findings

avatar

Hello, fungi lovers.

Today I'll share with you a few recent findings during November. Most of the mushrooms I've found are common in this area. Cold and humid weather affects certain species, and it is possible to find them all around. I often come across different stages of development of the same species of mushrooms. From the initial to the final stage.

Enoki

A very common type of mushroom that can be found from the end of autumn until spring.

Big sheath mushroom

Another very common autumn mushroom. It can be found all around on lawns, meadows, or along roadsides. It often forms interesting cap shapes as it ages. The color ranges from pure white to grey or greyish brown.

UFO 1

I found this mushroom growing from cracked birch bark. It looks like an enoki, but it grows individually and not in groups.

UFO 2

Another species for which I am not sure of the identification. It is reminiscent of King Alfred's cake in color and shape, but it is quite large and pale in color.

Oyster mushroom

And finally, the inevitable mushroom during the fall. It can currently be found in many locations at various stages of development.

I suspect ufo 2 will grow a face eventually, after all it already has a hat.

I’m afraid it'll jump out of the tree bark and start eating people. :-)
