Challenge of the week // Life before kids

I'm happy to be able to participate in the week challenge .

Hi moms and dads! Another week another challenge, this week we want to go back in time, tell us all about your life before kids, what do you miss the most, what was the biggest thing you saw changed in you (besides the whole becoming a mom/dad), what is the one thing you maybe regret or wish could have done before being a parent or what do you wish you would have known!

Many of the parents missed the simple things, I don't know for others but I miss some simple things like watching television without anyone bothering me, having a bath or shower free of disruptions because now I have to rush with bathing or showering before they they started calling mummy. The ability to read a book in peace and being able to enjoy a night out with friends was also part of the things I missed the most.

Most especially, I seem to miss sleep the most, and that is the number one thing I missed the most about life before kids being able to sleep in on the weekends is not possible with kids.

Going out the way I want for like some days without look back is out of the question, spending anyhow will also reduce because before they become a mother, I can spend money anyhow but now not like that again.

The only regret that I have and most time break my heart is that I should have finished my education before I become a mother, I thought it will be easy even with kids but no its not. now to going back to school is not an easy thing again, so I regret becoming a mom before I finished my education.

It doesn't matter how many books, motherhood forums, and articles you read, the truth is that nothing can completely prepare you for it, nobody is fully prepared we just find ourself there. After become a parent, though, I now have the gift of foresight. So if anybody ask me I would say if I could go back to the time before my son's was born and tell myself what I didn’t know I would experience.

What I regret is being more stressed about making enough money than providing a happy home which is the most important.

Thanks for visiting my blog and have a lovely day
