Pain.

Here it comes again,
in the market, in the halls,
here and there inscribing on the walls,
the symbol of oppression - pain.

Whenever it creeps on his bed,
he lies helpless, unable to complain,
he believes, it is the anointing of which he was ordained,
the anointing of pain.

He longed to live a life, so raw and plain,
where he wouldn't be constrained,
where he can crane,
to catch a glimpse of his future.

But each time the pain spooks,
he loses the vision of being a Duke.
Even his colleagues called him a kook,
meanwhile, he was named Luke.

The day he was freed from the throngs of pain,
was the day he realised that life has more gain,
than he could ever imagine.
He breathed into life with full energy again.

Thank you for your time.

My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.

Still me,

My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.

Pain is capable of blocking ones vision to see the brighter end of life. It digs deep until it leaves one hopeless but if it do be wipe away. Them someone truly will see the gain of life and it joy

I really enjoy this thoughtful comment and yes, pain has its way of blocking our sense of reasoning and clarity.
