Everyone Else Is Taken.

We try so much to fit in when we are expected to stand out. We try to lose who we are to gain the approval of others which shouldn't be. Everyone else is taken so why would you become another person just to satisfy those whose opinion shouldn't matter? Life is tricky, yes, but we have a decision to make.

Life is many things to us depending on how we choose to see it. You can't keep shouting life is unfair when you are unfair to yourself by not being true to yourself. What's the cost of you betraying yourself? Just to be cool with others? Life shouldn't be about impressing others but about living.

Your smile brightens the heart that sees you
You are like a breath of fresh air to everyone who sees you
No one can make you happy except you do that job yourself
You have to trust in yourself to be fully happy with yourself
You are not broken you don't need any fixing
You are not badly damaged, wait to listen to the story of others
Do you think you've had it worse? Wait and listen to those you look up to
Those who paint themselves as good to make you want to please them
You would be shocked to know the struggles they have underneath
And their ability to lord it over you is what makes them happy
Don't give them the luxury of being happy at your expense
When they can stop living in denial and work on being better humans
No situation is as worse as we always think, try and smile through it
It's not the end of a book just the end of a chapter, flip the page
Life won't always be pleasant but don't stop living
We accept the love we sometimes think we deserve
For you to accept better you have to love yourself enough
Enough to know you deserve better and don't sell yourself short
You are responsible for your happiness
If you have the motivation from within you can smile through anything
Stay true to yourself because everyone else is taken
