If you could gift a song or piece of music to another Hive user, who would it be, what song or piece of music and why would you gift it to that person?

Oh! I love music and it's like speaking the language of love like Spanish. Music is life and that's to me. I know most people feel differently and some don't even love music at all but I love music and I have songs for all occasions and for every mood too.

My elder brother is a singer even though he is hoping to make it big and I pray he will. I help him to write most of his songs because I am a deep believer in words and lyrics. I love when the tune of a song can get me and I fall more when the words are carved out so beautifully with amazingly rendered lyrics. It doesn't matter who sang the song but what I feel at that moment.

Music helps us convey our words sometimes better than we can say them because music speaks to your soul and you can feel the sincerity and passion that goes with it.

As a firm lover of music with deep lyrics, the Hive user I would love to gift this gift of music to is no other person than @Princessbusayo and the song I would be gifting her is titled, "That's What Friends Are For" by "Dionne Warwick". She featured so many A-List Artists too and you can watch the video of the song below:

Princess, this is for you.

Why am I gifting it to her? I would just narrow it down to 2 reasons: it's her birthday and she is an amazing friend.

I got to know this young, ambitious and wonderful lady in less than 6 months and she easily got my attention. She is always willing to help and she is a true definition of what a friend should be all about. She smiles so beautifully and I could tell that nature is jealous of her smile. Her smile can melt just any heart because it comes from deep within her.

It's her birthday and I need to remind her that she is an awesome person. Just in case people don't tell her enough, I want her to know that she is a good person and I have massive respect for her and for all that she stands for. She is kind, beautiful, smart, independent, hardworking and lovable. She would naturally go out of her way for you because that's who she is. She has never been defined by all the struggles she went through and rather than be a bad person as a result of her experiences, she decided to help others have a better experience.

She is my friend and I am proud to call her my friend. It's your birthday, Princess and I want to wish you the best year ahead with greater years to come also. Just as the lyrics of that song says, "Keep smiling, keep shining, knowing you can always count on me, for sure, that's what friends are for."

I needed to gift this to you to serve as a reminder to you that I appreciate your love and friendship. You deserve every love and attention that comes your way and I can only wish you the best of all things. Accept this token of my friendship because knowing you have been amazing and I have no regrets whatsoever.

There are some people life would gift to us and we have to make sure we hold on to them because it's only natural for humans to gravitate towards where they are celebrated rather than where they are tolerated which is why even though I wanted to do other questions of the weekend challenge, I would never pass up this opportunity to tell you how special you are. The world needs more people like you; loving, selfless and kind. I would always pick a kind lady over a beautiful one and interestingly, you are a bundle and combination of both.

You naturally go out of your way to help others and indeed friendship is all about sacrifice; taking the focus off ourselves and then projecting it onto others. I also want to tell you that I would also do the same and more for you. Our friendship is mutual and never one-sided and that makes it easier.

Cheers to more years of friendship between us, Princess. Enjoy the music and make sure you move your body to the rhythm of the song as well... I would be watching you hahaha. You have a friend in me, dear...so let this music connect us even further.
