God's Promises.

There are some promises that don't need the help of humans to be fulfilled and we have the ones that need human input before they can be birthed. Whether we like it or not, Jesus is coming back and there is nothing any human can do about that. There are some things that if you don't flee from, you won't be able to fulfil the promises.

Carelessness can cause us to have our promises from God delayed. A lot of people lacked in-depth knowledge of God's Word and they take it with levity. We have seen how carelessness from Samson caused his downfall even though God still used him for the last time before his death. The Bible says we have to study to show ourselves approved, meaning if we don't study we can't show ourselves approved. Do not expect promises of God to happen on their own. There are things you need to do. We all have a role to play in birthing them.

Prophecy or the promise of God is the revealing of God's plan to a nation or individuals. The good thing about the Word of God is that we can claim it, own it and make it work for us apart from other timely promises that He reveals to us per time.

A prophecy or promise from God can come through a servant of God. We have seen instances from the Bible where the good news was delivered to the intended target by His servants. God brings prophetic words through His chosen vessels as written in Luke 4:25-27. God sends men to men...

The Word of God is a sure word of prophecy. How to facilitate the fulfilment of God's promises?

Receive it:

We have a part to play in receiving it. Mary received the promise from God and the moment she did, the angel left because her faith has been activated as written in Luke 1:38. God doesn't prophecy or promise you based on your level but based on who He is. Any prophetic word you don't accept, you will not access.

Believe it:

Faith doesn't make sense but your sense doesn't make faith. Being real has no place with faith because faith would always defy logic. God used words to create the world and if we want to frame our world we have to be positive and optimistic too by being intentional about our words. We become what we confess. We can't say we accept it without speaking it. Our beliefs must match up with our words. You can't say you have faith and then start speaking against it in your conversations. If you truly believe it, it would reflect in your words, naturally. No prophetic word can be fulfilled unless the receiver believes. Where there is no believing there can be no receiving.

Engage in praise.

Praising God is a sign of faith...it is a sign that you have accepted it and then believed it. It's hard to praise when your soul is crushed and your spirit is down but when you have faith, knowing your reality is just a test to prove the glory of God, then your faith would rise and praise comes naturally. Faith is an expression of faith. It's easier to praise God for what He has done but the real test of faith is praising God for what He hasn't done. Praise provokes the fulfilment of God's promises.
