Take responsibility for your faith. This is the generation for complacency especially where spiritual matters are concerned. Look at the Word of God and stop seeking for prophecy.
What is a vision?
A vision is a mental image of what the future could be like. You cannot feature in a future that you cannot picture. A vision would always contradict your present state or stage. God spoke to Israelites about a land flowing with milk and honey and they were still in bondage that time. You don't need money to create a mental image nor do you pay for vision.
How To Create A Mental Image?
Thinking:
Stop playing with your thoughts. Let your thinking be right and stop thinking about things that doesn't make sense. A lot of people play with their thinking faculty which makes it easier for them to undermine the grace of God for their lives. The prodigal son enjoyed restoration through thinking. The Bible made us understand that he thought to himself...
Thinking helps you to analyse a situation carefully to know what step to take; whether to go ahead or to turn back.
Imagination:
It helps to imagine it. Create the image of yourself to be where you want to be or where you want to go.
Planning:
Everything calls for careful planning. After thinking, imagine it and then draft a plan. Be intentional about what you want to do and don't leave things to chance.
How Do I Receive A Vision?
Vision is seeing things the way they should be...a vision of a better tomorrow.
Spiritual Revelation:
Saul had an encounter with God. He got a spiritual encounter to know what God intended for his life through that encounter. For others it might be through dreams.
Persistent Burden:
The inquisitiveness of Nehemiah provoked a change from him which led him to weep, fasted and pray. A lot of people heard it during that time and they were not burdened by it. Nehemiah was burdened by the state of the people and Jerusalem and that was how he caught the vision which he ran with to bring about restoration. What problem gives you concern?
Association or Impartation:
Joshua was raised around Moses and got imparted by it. The same with Elisha through Elijah. You can catch a vision by association with the right people around you. A man will remain the same in 5 years except for two things: the books be reads and the company he keeps. Your association matters and overtime, we smell like the company we keep. When we walk with giants, stay on their shoulders, we don't only go far but we see far.

I love the way you ended with this, it gave more insight on what you are passing across. Too bad so many people wait for someone to see vision for them, it's obvious that they are yet to know the power they have not to mention that of our heavenly Father.

That's the annoying part. A lot of people have left their future in the hands of others. They want people to do everything for them even when it comes to having a vision. It's sad.
Really sad, I wonder what they plan doing if people are the ones doing everything for them 🤦🏻♀️
They just hit the snooze button and enjoy life not knowing that it's a tricky path to follow because many have been misled that way.
This is a harsh reality and the truth. They don't want to do anything and once they are in that state, it takes extra effort to get out.
So hard, some might end up accepting condemnation than change, to tell you how hard it can get
You are absolutely right, so many of them are already lost and they don't even know it, they just go as the wind blows

If it's possible, they can ask people to dream and build a future for them while they do nothing. They just want everything handed over to them.

We cannot feature in a future that we cannot picture. Ah. It's deep.
Most people don't think. They lacked the power to even visualize their dream. They waste most time on thinking about things that ar irrelevant. They easily think about unpleasant things but to think about the future, their mind is always clouded. This explains a lot.
Someone once said that when we want to invent horror, our mind is sharp and ready to imagine weird things but when we choose to imagine our future and the dream for a better life, then our minds becomes cloudish.
Please increase the volume of this, the world needs to hear especially where I am from.
A lot of people have made men their god because of prophecy, which is the only reason why you see them flood churches. They become enslaved in the name of prophecy.
Having a vision of the future is the first step in creating and fulfilling what you have always dreamt of. Thanks for sharing
Many people have become slaves as you have rightly said. They just go with whatever they are being told. They don't think, they don't dream it or attempt to do anything on their own.
They don't make any attempts and would even want others to pray and fast for them while they do nothing. We have a part to play and we can catch visions for ourselves when we work and walk towards it.
You are right, brother. They flood churches because they want a prophecy to hang on to and they have forgotten that prophecy without proper guidance and desire to get through it with a part to play would never materialize. Many people are just lazy to think and do things on their own.
The concept you share is thoughtful. Every person should create his own concept and his own vision.
The concept about God is different for different people.
But we all should use our mind to see what is right and what is wrong and shouldn't be crazy on the words which others say.
