Sometimes, with the way life is, things can look so unsure and bad
Have you ever had to wake up with a heavy heart before? You can see how bad?
Adulthood they say is a scam, who wouldn't want to go back to being a lad?
You know that look of disbelief you sometimes give your mum and dad
Questioning why they brought you into the world like they took what you had
Nothing comes easy and you have to keep fighting even to buy a tennis pad
If you live in Nigeria then you would understand how everything can drive sane people mad
You just want the day to sometimes end as quickly as it started
Hoping tomorrow offers fresh hope but still, unsure
The next day comes and you noticed nothing else changed, maybe your clothes
Where is the hope you expected the new day to bring?
Gone in a flash with a sad countenance, your heart sting
You've been trying to make sense out of life but that's just life
Nothing is as easy as it seems, talk to a man looking to get himself a wife
Most people have contemplated giving up and just to end it
These sufferings come with a rush as though it's on a lend
It's a bumpy ride sometimes with a bit of horrible bend
But still, as broken as we are, we have a bit more time to mend
You might not see the light at the end of the tunnel at first glance
Keep going and you see the path gets clearer as you go deeply
It's like climbing the stairs, taking it one step at a time
Keep going and keep pushing, you will see that light
But you have to be intentional and use your might
Every day, keep pushing, whether day or night
The day will break and joy will come into your sight

When you think you are close to the breaking point that is when you think you have nothing more to give or when you feel you have nothing else to live for. The good news is, that is when you are close to your finishing line to success, so don't give up, your life as well as many others depends on it too.

The sun will rise again, just wait till the morning. The moon will come out to play again, just keep your watch and wait for it. The rain will always come but you must have prepared your field for it as well. We all have a part to play to turn things around no matter how cloudy it gets. It would be summertime again and you will smile again...keep hanging in there and keep taking steps.
