Yes yes I know. It is Monday and I am just now doing my Sublime Sunday post. Well that is truly the story of my life. A day late and a dollar (or more) shy!
It is a mighty drab looking day with showers and clouds throughout...although if you squint real hard there is a boat pulling a tuber way out yonder.
None of the happy people are out and the boats are just waiting at their moorings.
I put this bucket out to capture some rain spilling over the eaves, and it got quite a lot.

Yes the are of the old fogey variety that have bi-focals or as they like to spin it as "progressives"... I suppose you get these kind of glasses as you progress towards the grave, yikes!

Before I saw the photo with them on you, I thought exactly that "those look like Grampa's glasses....LOL... but they don't look quite like Grampa when you put them on.

My big white popcorn-like hydrangeas have just started bursting into bloom. The others have been blooming since June, but, these are the late bloomers. I guess that is good as it keeps me in hydrangeas all summer long. I love how they have so many different kinds. A long time ago, I thought I had a special one because it had three colors on it. I had never seen that only if it was artificially enticed with a little PH balance. :) That is fun to do too. Have you played with the PH of your soil with your hydrangea, to change its color?
