Notice we didnt dare move an inch away from touching it as there were 8 other dudes wanting the same generator. It was sad to see the desperation in their eye, but hey it is first come, first served!

That is Ben and he is wheeling that monster up to the check out. Dropping nearly a grand, but about $600 after my coupons is bloody scary!!! I talk all about the disaster here...

oh my gosh, haha... those animatronics are scary !LOLZ ... guessing they are out for Halloween already? Chewbacca sounds realistic although he looks like he may be on a diet hehe. Mind you, I'd love to have him on my front porch welcoming kids come 31 October 😂

Curious as to what the power outage is that you speak of... especially given the high demand for generators. I'm sorry you are going through these power supply disruptions but I think you ended up getting a great deal on that generator! And it seems a no-brainer given the amount of food stock you have in the freezer at the mo... Enjoyed your post very much. !PIZZA !ALIVE

We get a lot of storms here for some reason and of course they take down the power lines... I guess it is a Michigan thing!

This kind of thing tends to impact Scotland and Northern England more... I am near London so for us to get an electricity outage is almost unheard of lol... I guess we are very fortunate... Mind you, I grew up in South Africa and although I have lived in the UK for 21 years now, when I have gone home for a visit, I have always been faced with scheduled electricity outages as they do not have enough electricity generation to support the whole country at the same time... so everyone works on a rotation and has periods each day of not having. The things we take for granted, hey 😊 Hope you get yours back soon! !ALIVE

Under $600 is a pretty good deal. Glad you finally got one, after living in Michigan for over 50 years. What is wrong with this story? You get one on your way out to a place that never loses power?

That's alright! There will be lots of times you will be able to use one. Now you are all covered. Still, for the life of me, I am wondering why you have never gotten one before with no power, heat, and everything else that you have put those poor children through.
