The Joys of a Shower and Saying Goodbye Sucks
I do like to drift along in thoughts...especially in the shower. As the hot water beats down, I honestly do my best thinking by not trying to think. I just relax and my mind will wander to and fro. I can shower for ages, the longer the better. In fact it is the awareness that I am wasting water of which I am paying to heat that ultimately runs me out.
We are in the wet and weary season of shorter days, grey dome skies, and chilly nights.
Goodbye Summer 2021. I didnt get to know you well, but I did enjoy the time we had together.

I am so sorry for your loss. Any loss of life is tragic, for sure, but one so young? And by her own hand? That is gut-wrenching. I feel terrible for her friends, but, my heart really goes out to her parents. Sad to say, so many parents never, ever get over it.
May she rest in peace.
Her mom used to do the daily walk right by our house. I havent seen her out since. I dont think I could get over it.
Bless her, so young, it certainly does suck, we hear this far too much these days. R.I.P angel.

Its very sad when they are so young, I really feel for her parents as I couldn't cope losing one of mine.
I'm sorry for hearing that. I do agree, life sucks, I've lost plenty of close people due to covid and it's heartbreaking to remember. But I've learned to live with it. Hope you all the best.
