This Sunday Really Was Beautiful and Sublime

In this picture if you look closely, you can see the white roof of a little shack. Now he may not have a mansion to live in, but he sure has one hell of a view.

Living in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in South Western Virginia for the past 9 months, I have come to the realization that I love to see these mountain views! I truly hope that I never get to the point of taking the mountains for granted.

Some Sundays are just kind of ho-hum, and we really have to work on them to become truly beautiful and sublime. However there are those Sundays that are free-flowing with beauty and sublimeness. They don't come around that often for me, but when they do they really leave an impression that leaves one genuinely feeling good well into the next day.

The Beautiful Sunday and Sublime Sunday tags are some of my faves! I want to thank @ace108 for running the beautiful Sunday tag every week and keeping such detailed stats and supporting the accounts. Also, a shout out to @c0ff33a for the sublime Sunday tag where your random Sunday posts are always welcome!

I have been trying to take advantage of the recent warm weather, and get over to work on cutting down more trees on my lake lot. I have been making some slow progress. The actual cutting and felling of the trees does not take a lot of time. However the bucking or cleaning up the fallen trees is where a lot of work is done and a lot of time is killed.

There in the distance you can see the brush pile that I've been working on chipping which consists of all of the branches in the treetops. The branches are way too small to make good firewood that is worth trying to sell it.

My little Harbor Freight wood chipper is ready to tame that pile!

Always remember to wear your hearing protection when operating loud machinery. I used to just laugh off all of those safety concerns when I was younger. However, now I realize just how important it is to keep and protect your body from physical damage resulting from the work you are trying to do.

My neighbor's grass is as green as a golf course.

Of course down the hill I have a whole lot more work to do. I have yet to even touch the trees growing down that hill. I am really concentrating on getting the front done so I can finally have a driveway brought in.

Hope your week ahead is great.

Blue Ridge Mountains. Yay. Time to listen to the John Denver's song.

The weather has waffled all winter. A few days of winter, a few days of spring.

I'll take it for real instead of long constant cold.

No wonder the mountains affect you, they are in your blood afterall.

I would guess the daytime temps this "winter" have averaged 50. Cant beat that!
