What a Tree-rific Tuesday

This shows that a few trees are trying to get geared up for the Autumn season. Now that the nights are starting to cool off, it wont be long.

I went out on the hunt for some fall colors today. They are still quite elusive so far this time of year. I decided to take my camera with me throughout my day and see what I might find.

P1280355.JPG

This big old maple is not budging on yielding any colors yet!

P1280359.JPG

There were some pretty wildflowers around!

P1280371.JPG

Even some of the dried weeds were looking nice.

P1280373.JPG

This tree was losing its leaves without much color at all.

P1280370.JPG

Wait a moment, that may be a sumac down there. It looks like it is getting in the colorful mood. I know up by the house the sumacs are the first to turn followed by the black walnuts it seems.

P1280368.JPG

Kind of cool how the vines go red before the leaves on the trees.

P1280361.JPG

There were still some of these berries around.

P1280362.JPG

I thought this tree really was having a laugh at our expense...All of the apples were at the top LOL!

P1280377.JPG

Moon between the pines.

P1280382.JPG

We headed over to the park to finish off the day with a nice sunset!

Hope your hump day will be a good one!!

Those wild flowers are beautiful!
Colors here (in our part of the state) are slowing changing. Another week and it should be real vibrant!

Lovely captures of the season. Nice shot of sunset and reflections in the water.

The leaves are slow changing here too.

I'm so ready for autumn! I'm also looking forward to getting out and enjoying some of the bright fall colours.

Nice shots. The trees all just turned brown where I am in upstate New York. No fall colors at all this year! It's been super dry for a month, I guess that's why.

Well over here in the Southern Hemisphere, summer is on its way and we will only see autumn again next year in April/May.
Some lovely shots here and I also like the moon and the sunset ones.
Blessings!

I'm sure it won't be long before the colors are in full glory. At least I hope it's one of those kind of falls - sometimes it seems like winter just hits with no real fall folliage to enjoy.

Fall is getting off to a late start where I am. Usually by now, we've got colors everywhere. It's just getting started.

The reflection, the water, the seasonal changes are just so beautiful. You have such a beautiful fall which sort of makes up for the winter that you have coming down the road.

See? There is some justice in the world! Congratulations on the Rally upvote!

Wonderful pictures. I love this time of year. It's a shame that we went from 80 to 40 within 24 hrs. The trees started to turn earlier this week. My catalpa is not happy though. She usually turns an amazing yellow, so far we're going straight to brown.
