Three Sisters Views

This is a collection of 4 shots I took of the Three Sisters in Central Oregon. They were taken over a two month period from a couple different angles with different lighting. Hope you enjoy the vistas. 😀

This first one is from late August. I'm on a section of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) that runs through this area. On the right you can see the North and Middle Sister. On the left the little building is Dee Wright Observatory. It was a very hazy/smoky day and the lighting wasn't very good. I was able to use Lightroom to make this pano and to clear up some of the haze. About the only decent photo I got that day.

It was early September around 6AM and we stopped at the viewpoint along HWY 20 on a trip into Bend OR. We pass by this view point quite a bit and every so often I like to stop in and get a few pictures of the mountains.

Here is a shot from the same place as above a little over a month later. Even though it is about the same time of morning I was lucky to capture the sun highlighting the mountains.

And here is a mid morning view after fresh snowfall over the weekend. We are taking a morning walk near where we live.
