Season Hunt Challenge - Pumpkins, Good to Eat and Decorate

Autumn is an amazing time of the year! Bushes and trees and sidewalks are lit with gold ... Thank you, lazy janitors, for the joy of walking through the fallen leaves! I love dry leaves rustling under my feet! But autumn is good not only because it inspires a lyrical mood. For me, this is also the time when I make stocks of berries and vegetables, which I then usually have enough for the winter and even spring - that's how smart the decision to purchase a separate freezer turned out to be. Now I have it in addition to the one in my old fridge.Осень - потрясающее время года! Облитые золотом кусты и деревья и тротуары... Спасибо вам, ленивые дворники, за радость пройтись по опавшей листве! Обожаю шуршать сухими листьями! Но не только тем, что навевает лирическое настроение, хороша осень. Для меня это еще и время, когда я делаю запасы ягод и овощей, которых обычно хватает на зиму и даже весну — вот каким умным оказалось решение приобрести отдельную морозильную камеру в дополнение к той, что уже была в холодильнике.

I always try to buy something grown by local gardeners, including pumpkins, when it is a season for that. I do not have a vegetable garden, I live in an apartment, so I buy everything, or my gardening friends sometimes treat me to it. In the photo above, you can see pumpkins grown by my friend. It would not be fair not to show you her, so, she is in the photo below. She ties the pumpkins up with such nets as they grow in her greenhouse so that they don't come off under their own weight.В это время года я всегда стараюсь купить овощи и ягоды, выращенные местными садоводами, в том числе и тыквы. У меня нет огорода или сада, я живу в квартире, поэтому всё покупаю, ну и иногда угощают друзья-садоводы. На фото выше - тыквы, выращенные моей подругой, а на фото ниже - она сама. Она подвязывает тыквы такими сетками когда они растут в её теплице, чтобы они не оторвались под собственной тяжестью.

These pumpkins were sold in our market. I do not know the names of the different varieties at all, but at @deerjay 's post I saw white pumpkins called Ghost pumpkins. I think the top two can be of the same grade.Эти тыквы продавались у нас на рынке. Я совершенно не знаю названий разных сортов, но у @deerjay я увидела белые тыквы, которые называются Ghost pumpkins (тыквы-привидения). Думаю, верхние две могут быть того же сорта.

Pumpkins are so beautiful that artists copy the nature, creating adorable pieces that can beautify any interior. I found these colored glass pumpkins in bars in the UK. These and other photos I took two years ago, when I was there, just at the same time.Тыквы настолько красивы, что художники копируют природу, создавая очаровательные экземпляры, которые могут украсить любой интерьер. Эти тыквы из цветного стекла я нашла в барах Великобритании. Эти и остальные фото я сделала два года назад, когда была там, как раз в это же время.

Several shop windows. At that time, I was not a part of the HIVE community yet, otherwise I would have a greater collection of photos. 😁Несколько витрин магазинов. В то время я еще не была частью сообщества HIVE, иначе моя коллекция фото могла бы быть гораздо больше. 😁

I photographed this store because of its name. I wonder if they rename it when the Halloween sales end?Этот магазин я сфотографировала из-за его к названия. Интересно, переименовывают ли они его, когда продажи к Хэллоуину заканчиваются?
