Beautiful And Sublime Sunday - Philppines Wet Market
First day in Marikina, where I stayed for three days. My brother is living there. I went to the nearestrket and bought food for us. I felt something new walking without cover. I felt free/freedom of myself.
The nearest wet market in my brother's house.
Street foods were being sold every afternoon until night. In this way people could buy though they only had small budget.
These were the foods I evermissed.I bought a lot and I was surprised how much it cost. Everything were expensive and almost triple the price during my last vacation.
Different kind and variety of bananas and the fresh peanuts were among the best food I bought.
Fishes were expensive too but people have no choice. We bought it because we need it.
That was my beautiful and sublime Sunday, seeing the sorrounding of one of my destination iny vacation. It has a big difference from the market of Saudi Arabia. I am just so happy that I am now in my homeland after three years of not coming home. But I am so dismayed how expensive all the commodities. How the people and their income not enough for their daily needs.
I just felt so disappointed how the commodities were so high price. I could imagine the hardship of the people if they have no work, no money to buy. If they have money to buy, I think we need to plant so people will not rely in buying vegetables and other food crop.
