Beautiful and Sublime Sunday - The Birthday Party Part 2
There was no regret that I came to the party. I was not feeling good but I forced myself because it was the second time invitation and if I refused, they would never accept my reason anymore. They told me that they were waiting. The foods were not touched until I came. Though they were already hungry, they waited for me until 11:30 pm. I dressed up and respect the invitation.
I told you the first part and here is the second part of the story after praying, wishing and eating.
Did you remember that during my birthday last October 9, 2023, I had nothing at all. I never had a party for a reason but today I am bless looking great during the birthday of my friends.
They let me sing two songs If You Sing Me A Love Song and Himayang Nahunlak Those songs made the night sentimental. Only my heart knees whom I offered aside from the celebrant.
I was so grateful to the two celebrants who forced me to come that night. I already told them I sleep already but my conscience shaken me to go.
When one of my friend sang That's What Friends Are For it started a commotion when everyone joined her but I lost my record video.
I felt the happiness with them. They are my true friends ever, Sharida is already 15 years and Sara is 25 years. They have no children. Sharida is a single woman and a breadwinner. Sahara got married two times, divorced the first one but she had no child and her 2nd husband is her high school boyfriend. They got married last year and she wants to go home for good next year. Her husband want her to stop working and they planned business together.
Sharida is not yet planning to go because the house she built few years ago was accidentally burn.
Everyone has a story to tell but we never talked problem that night, We avoided sadness but myself, I didn't hide my feeling when I sang my favorite song. At the end of the night we realized that we had a break from toxic workloads and I just loving the party with my co- #ofw and other nationality because we were all girls. There was no man around even the owner of the house, relative of our boss is a widow and her son is working in the mainland Riyadh.
Climax of the night and the intense of the song That's What Friend Are For sang by my friend and neighbor, I helped find a job here in my employers clan. Then, she helped her sister too and was with us wesring in yellow shirt.The face of the two celebrant were too happy.
We the Overseas Filipino Workers here in this family are so thankful to God for giving us the better employers. They are already educated people and religious. They are God fearing people who treat us as human being. But also, I have best friend who is now in bad condition with her boss. The story will be posted next time.
Flexing my Browny Today
Spotty is my King cat but he has no power against Browny. Browny is the real King and great survivor. He was almost dead with wounds at his back and injured his bones brought him not to walk straight until now. It was Caramel who fought him during my Whitey time as my favorite. Last night, Browny ce along with me and he looked so cute. He wanted me to catch my attention to him as he rolled down the floor.
That's the update of my cat for #Saturday. When I attended a party I have to bring food for them like the other night.
