HOW I FIXED A SHIRT COLLAR

Good morning Hivers, Before now I found it so difficult to fix a shirt collar, to even Draw and cut out the collar Itsef Using collar stay was a big issue for me, this made me loose interest in sewing shirt so I preferred sewing just casual wears that doesn't require me fixing any collar.

After several order from friends and family asking me to sew shirt for them, and I can't tell them I don't know how to so I sat down checking out some already made shirt, and after several attempts I was able to make something good and am so happy I won at last.

So this morning I will be sharing with you how I fixed this shirt collar, it's very straight forward and simple.

Firstly I I cut out the Collar Following the The neck measurements.
Collar stay was used.

after cutting out the stay, I applied in the fabric and cutting some pieces to turn it with. Then I created the collar

I always make the neck of the cloth itself to be smaller and later trim to the original size after creating the collar because it's better to trim the neck to the collar size than the neck too big for the collar, with that no remedy to the cloth.
