I SEWED THIS LOVELY OUTFIT FOR MY FRIEND, HE FELL SO MUCH IN LOVE WITH THE TROUSER
Good morning everyone, I'm super excited to be here again to share with you my needlework. I'm excited because the review I got from him is excellent.
Aside the fact that he loves the outfit, he commended me more on the trousers, he fell so much in love with it.
So I'm here this morning to Share with you how I did the magic 😆.
MATERIALS USED
- Fabric (white Irish material)
- Zip
- Hair stay
- Paper stay
- Thread
- Elastic
SEWING PROCESS
After cutting the fabric using the measurements, the only difference in this is that there is an additional inches added to the back because of the elastic.
So I started by creating the band for the front, adding paper stay and hair stay to where is needed then I proceed to sewing proper.
STEP 1 CREATING THE POCKET
STEP 2 FIXING OF ZIP
After creating the side pockets, the next thing to do is fixing the zip
STEP 3 FIXING THE BAND
After the zip, the next thing in putting a band on it before joining to the back
FINAL STEP LENGTH EXTENSION
There is a little design I added to the Length with bias.
So I created that first before joining to the Length to give the appropriate length measurements.
