#Pure doctrines of Christ.

WHAT I LEARNT FROM THE INDOCTRINATION DAY 1

Hello everyone, I'm Olubunmi by name, Today is 6th December,2021. I'm here to share the lessons I learnt from the Mass Indoctrination, conducted today being 6th of December,2021.

The meeting started with an opening prayer (we pray for the gladness to listen and study your holy ways ,Thank you For this yearday Lord! May the peace of God be with us all). And the people of God said, Amen.

The preacher admonished us to believe not every spirit, but try the spirit whether they are of God. This is found in the book of 1st Cor 4:6

1 Corinthians 4:6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

We should pursue after righteousness - 1st Cor 14:37

1 Corinthians 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. Meaning the doctrines of the Lord.

He said ,Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God . Rom 10:17

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. we need to hear the doctrines of Christ.

In the book of 1st Tim 6:3 1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; This is telling is that we should only follow Christ's doctrine. Any doctrine outside Christ or not in accordance with Christ is not Christ's doctrine.

Matt 17:5

Matthew 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. The Bible is telling us that it is only the doctrine of Christ Jesus that we should listen to. That is the doctrine that was recommended for us in the Bible and through the Bible. In the book of Jude 1:4 Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mark 7:7-9 Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

It is evil to leave the commandments of God and hold fast / cleave to the doctrines of Men. If we follow the commandments of men, it is vain!!! We should ensure we do a scrutiny of any religion or religious gatherings, before we join them , we should ensure and be careful not to be deceived.

Before Christ Ascended to Heaven, he gave his disciples a commandment. This is seen in the Book of Matt 28:19

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

We should find out if the doctrines our churches observe are in line with the doctrines of Christ Jesus.

The doctrines of Christ are written in the Bible. Any doctrine that is not in the Bible is not the doctrine of Christ, So if a doctrine is not written in the Bible, do not accept it. 1 Corinthians 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. If something is written in the Bible, it is a commandment, Acts 2:41 Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. One of the doctrines ( The doctrine of Christ Jesus) he mentioned includes; Acceptance of the church In Rom 12:9 Romans 12:9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

The Bible admonishes us to run from that which is evil and cleave to that which is good. In Eph 5:23 Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Christ is the head of the Church , An anti-christ is someone who refuses to accept Christ as the head of the Church.

The church is an entity, established by the Lord Jesus Christ, The Body of Christ is the Church( The Church is the Spiritual Body of Christ) An anti-christ says, church is not important, do not join the church. In Acts 20:28

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. The apostles preached the Church of God, It is the Church of God that will teach the wisdom of God. The manifold wisdom of God, is made known for an eternal purpose. The church of God is the Wisdom of God, to make known the ways of God In the book of Matt 16:18 it says upon this rock I would build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail. Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

We must be members of the same body of Christ, which is the Church. The word of God, would make known the Wisdom of God. John 12:50

John 12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

The official name of Church in the Bible is "THE CHURCH OF GOD" this is seen in Isa 43:7.

Isaiah 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Anyone called by the name of God, belongs to God. e.g - The spirit of God, the angel of God,Man of God etc

In the book of 2nd Tim 3:17
2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Everything and anything that is of God, is called by his name e.g - Children of God,

Even Christ in the book of Luke 9:20
Luke 9:20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

​He is called the "CHRIST OF GOD"

The household of God on the Earth is the Church of God.
