THE ADVENT OF AI ; A BLESSING OR A CURSE??

We all are not ignorant of how ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE is at the forefront of Technology through it's highly remarkable features
It is fast becoming the order of the day

Don't get me wrong, I know AI has been in existence since the development of the 5th Generation Computers, which included - The development of Expert systems, Game playing, Robotics, Natural language understanding and Neural networks.
The AI technology made these computers to understand human language as well as recognize graphs and pictures.

This got me thinking with this advancement in Technology would people be able to keep up with the trend or would it cause more harm than good??

The impact of Artificial Intelligence can be debated, It can be seen as a " Blessing" or a "Curse"
Based on the lens or perspective you are viewing it from as well as how it is being used

**The Blessings of AI **

• Advancement in various fields; You would agree with ne, that since the development of AI there has been a revolution in many industries and fields, including - The banking industry, Transport industry, Healthcare,Education, Finance
This has helped make work easier and reduce the bulk load of workers, leading to inproved efficiency, productivity and accuracy in these sectors

• Enhanced Decision Making; Due to the rapid ahd vast features of the technology, AI systems can process vast amounts of information and data which provides useful insights in making decisions
This is virtually useful in all fields, from the Healthcare sector,Banking sector, Transportation sector and so on

• Improved Safety and Convenience; The AI technology can enhance safety in the Security and Surveillance industry or sector,By installing it in our homes,offices,business ventures it can provide adequate security for us as in AI assistance and smart gome devices which offer convenience and improved quality of life

• Reliability; Due to the use of different search engines,Informations provided from AI are mostly credible and reliable

CURSE:

• Job Loss :Due to the rapid growing technology and advancement a lot of Jobs would be lost,Workers would becone displaced from their Jobs as it would be done by machines and robots instead of Humans
The automation of certain jobs by AI would lead to decreased labour or manpower and render people jobless or unemployed

• Over Dependence and loss of human skills: Since the world is a Global village, There would be over reliance on AI systems leading to decline in human skills and capabilities

• Misuse and Abuse: Due to easy accessibility to AI systems there would be a lot of misuse as people would use it for unethical things and it would become Abused
"When the purpose of a thing is not known,Abuse is inevitable "
