Goals are purposes that humans sought to achieve during their existence here on Earth, all humans from young to old have a goal they all want to achieve. Without goals, humans are purposeless and with this they have lost out on their essence in life. Every human needs to have a purpose, in order to know where they stand in life.

Every human does have a primary Goal given to them, by our Creator. As He said in Genesis 1 vs 28, “ Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the air, and over the fowls of the air, and over everything that moves upon the surface of the earth”, ( KJV). This is the primary purpose of an, human being's Goal created.

Goals are essential and crucial to every human, right from the very existence of life, goals has been a motivating factor in the evolution of life. From the Creation story, which showed that God, “The Almighty” had a goal, and set out with a purpose which was to create a world worthy of inhabiting and also to create mankind. This Goal, brought about the existence of the Cosmic Universe, and our own existence today. All because of a goal, God had.

Having a goal or goals help one to live a life of fulfillment, and not just be clueless as to what one purpose is.

Goal can be said as something of value that you are trying to attain or achieve. It can also, described as something substantial, that takes the frontal pivot of an individual, pushes and energies
the individual to hard work, with the aim to achieve
a specific purpose. Goal can also be defined as a state an individual wishes to avoid.
It can also be said as a desired result or outcome that you hope to achieve.

When setting a goal, it's important to make it specific, measurable, attainable and clearly defined. Goals can be classified into two types:

SHORT-TERM GOALS
LONG-TERM GOALS

SHORT-TERM GOALS

Short-term goals, these are goals you hope to achieve within a relatively short period of time.
These are the small little goals that help build up to a bigger goal, and the long-term goals. These types of goals are ones that we achieve, everyday, weeks, months. Short-term goals are also a good way to break down larger long-term goals into smaller manageable steps.

LONG-TERM GOALS

Long-term goals, these are goals that take longer to achieve and usually span years or even decade's. Long-term goals are the delayed gratification outcome after years of hard work and sustained focus.

Goals helps to set a realistic point of view, towards your goal accomplishment.

It helps to know how to set your expectations, whether high or low.

Goals bring about clarification of Decision making.

Goals help to live a life of definition, anda sense of direction.

Goals help set a purpose worthy of achieving.

Goals help to achieve focus and increased productivity.

Goals also helps in being a great factor, for motivation to achieving purpose.

Goal an idea about the future, that an individual or group envision and plan, then set out to commit.
Goals are what keeps everyone of us going, without goals, the world would be in a lackadaisical place. Goals would always exist as long as humanity is involved.
