**DAY 6 MASS INDOCTRINATION MCGI CARES COMMUNITY. 01 MAY, 2023. (ZOOM MEETING).

Greetings Beloved MCGI Cares Community, I welcome you all to my blog. My name is Olu Thomas. Below is what I learned from Day 6 Mass Indoctrination service and the teachings from our dear Bro. Eli was inspiring and transformative. All thanks to God.

LESSONS

Today, Bro Eli taught us about the Confession of Sin.
I learned that we should confess our sins to one another, if we notice we sin against someone we should not stay back and tell to the priest, but instead, we should meet the person we offended and ask for forgiveness, by doing so our prayers will be answered, that's the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ. Glory to Jesus.

If we have love for one another, then we will definitely forgive one another, because Bro. Eli Emphasis that in the world every day, there is the possibility of sinning against one another or against the Lord.

I also learned that confession is first to God and then to the person you offended. He who confesses His sins and forsakes them, the Lord God is faithful and just to forgive such an individual and hearken to our voice when we pray. I learned that he that covers his sin will not prosper, but anyone who confesses his sin shall prosper in the land of the living and he will have peace of mind.

I also learned that the Lord God is delighted in the prayer of a righteous person, if your ways are right with God, if you're pure-hearted before you pray God knows your problems and He will answer you, because you are right standing with Him and your ways pleases Him. And, I also learned that when praying we should not use vain repetition of words, thinking that's what will make God answer us, is not what will make God answer us because His word says the prayer of a righteous man availeth much. As a Child of God, before you speak the word God knows exactly what is in your heart.

I also learned that we are not supposed to ask the saints that are dead to pray for us, or someone that did not resurrect to pray on our behalf, only Jesus Christ resurrect from the dead and He is our only advocate. So, our prayers should be made by us or the priest that is still alive, we can ask them to pray along with us.

I learned that God does not dwell in a temple made with hands, the Church is the congregation of people who come together to worship God or pray to God and Praise Him.

The Church is a place where we need to do everything with orderliness and decency. We are urged to remove our shoes when coming into the church for prayers because you may wish to enter inside with your shoes and there are brethren that will love to kneel before the Lord, some will lie down flat on the floor while praying, so, your shoes might have dirt on it and it will mess the temple of God.

When we want to pray we should have a pure heart, the Husbands and wives should live in peace with one another, by doing so our prayers will be answered and we will please the Lord. And we urge you to pray for one another, let's pray for our spouses, our friends, and who so ever needs our prayers. the doctrine of our Lord Jesus states that we should pray continually, the more we pray for one another, our prayers have the ability to transform lives, bring the dead to life, to change someone's life. We should not only for those who love us, or only for those we know, Jesus came to the world to die for me and you, He died for the whole world, while we are yet sinners, He came and gave His life for us, so we are not to condemn but to give life to what is dyeing.

I also learned that, as a believer we need to be free from the love of money, we should be contented with what we have, He said never will He live us nor forsake us. Bro Eli further urges us to be contented with what we have, if we can't afford beef, we should get fish, pending when we will be able to afford what we want, even if it dry fish, we should arrange properly and give thanks to God for the provision and eat with great Joy and keep praying.

I also learned that if I want to go look for work I should pray before going out and if I have a problem where I work, I should pray for intervention, if we have a problem with our spouse or family, let's pray and ask God to lead us, if there's a man to pray there is a God to answer.

I also learned that I should not be assures or worry about anything, but in everything or any situation we should always make our request known unto God, we should come boldly to His presence. He is our father and we are His sons and daughters, He promises never to live us nor forsake us. Thanks, Be to God Almighty.
