DAY 6 MCGI CARE MASS INDOCTRINATION HELD ON 16 OCTOBER 2023

Wow! a great day to be a part of Day 6 Mass Indoctrination, I’m happy to see all the lovely MCGI family and hiver, today is an amazing day in God's presence it was awesome. Bro Eli was used mightily by God to elaborate some of the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ and below Is what I understood from the teachings. Thanks to God

Lessons

I learned that if we sin or we notice that someone sinned against us or offended us we should not go about telling people but rather should correct them in love also if you sin against someone, first you should confess your sin to the Lord your God and secondly you need to meet the person you offended and seek for forgiveness from him. So, the two most important thing we need to note is that we should confess our sins to God and to the one we offended. We should not cover our sins, because the word of God makes us understand that, those who so ever hide their sin shall not prosper but who ever confess his or her sin shall have mercy upon from God and his ways shall be prosperous because he confesses and he is forgiven, old things are passed away. He became new immediately when he sought mercy from God.

I learned that the prayer of a sinner is an abomination on God's side, but a prayer of righteous man availed more, if we want our prayers to be answered by God, we should let go of our former life of sin, let’s embrace Christ-like life and work in His righteousness by doing that before we start praying he will hear us. And while praying there should not be vain repetition that is not what will make God answer our prayers but rather for God says before we should open our mouths and pray he knows exactly what we need, so no need to keep repeating prayers rather we should pray believing that God has answered us and He knows what we want lets wait patiently for its manifestations. And if we want to pray, we can stand, we can raise our hands and we can kneel down.

Also learned that God does not dwell in a temple made with hands, we are the church and God dwells in us, the word of God says our body is the temple of our Lord Jesus Christ. So we are the house of God while the church is a congregation of people that pray together. We have a high priest who is the head of the Church and he's always ready to give us whatever we seek, ask, or knock the door will be open unto us.

I also learned that we need to look good while in the presence of God, we are not supposed to eat in the house of God, I learned that during gatherings we need to be disciplined. No eating, no making noise, no going about, etc.

I learnt that if I want to pray I need to have a pure heart, the parent and their kids needs to live godly live they need to please God in their ways by so doing the parents and children will feel the presence of God and will enjoy the fullness of God glory. We all need help from God, that’s enough reason why we need to pray.

I also learned that we should be contented with the little we have, what we cannot afford for we should not discomfort ourselves just because we want to eat our tomorrow today. Is better for us to be in peace than to do what is wrong on the side of God and man and be restless.
