School and its expenses.

Hello everyone. I want to talk about the resumption of my school since we've already resumed back on campus for this year 2024.

This also means getting up early in the morning, doing what I have to do and then getting ready for school. It also means spending more money on transportation and buying handouts plus continuous assignments that revolve around going to the internet for research which will cost lots of data in the end. School requires a lot of money and without it, you cannot get everything you want to make the best of your career.

This year 2024, I want to try my best harder than last year 2023. We are already in the new year so change must occur for me. I will be seeing my friends again after days of staying at home for the holiday given to us. Even though school is stressful, having your friends beside you will reduce the stress in your body system. I can't count the amount I spent last year as a fresher who was going up and down with registration, they cost me a whole lot of money but thanks to God and my sisters who were supporting me and never made me lack anything I needed as a student in school.

I love going to school early because if I don't get to school before 7-7:10 am, I would have to sit on the floor for the whole four hours of lectures as we offer combined lectures such as GST, POS, ECO and EDS together. If I don't get to school on time, I will not be able to sit on the bench, rather, I will sit on the floor.

I can remember my first semester in 100level, as you know, freshers do not know anything yet. I thought there would be enough chairs that would contain us, so if we had lectures by 8:00 am, I would be going to school around 7:30 am, by the time I get to the venue where we would be receiving lectures, I would see some of the students already on their seat ready for lectures. One day, I asked them to adjust for me so that I would be able to sit but no one answered me with the excuse that someone else already occupied the seat.

For a whole month, I had to sit on the floor. I thought about it and asked how they did it that before I got to school, they had already occupied the space. Ever since then, I had a change of mind to start going to school early.

On this faithful day, I woke up early around 6:20 am, did my chores, took my bath and by the time it was 6:50 am, I was already on my way to school, I got to the venue around 7:15, met only a few students, that was how I became used to coming to school early because of space. During one of those days, the ladies who told me they were keeping the spaces for their friends also came late to the lecture hall, and the spaces beside me were up to seven and the ladies were four in number. I have three friends but because of what they did to me for the whole month, I decided to repay them. When they wanted to sit in the available spaces, I stood up and said, "Excuse me, the spaces are already occupied". They were shocked and couldn't say anything because it is what they did to me. I changed my mind and decided not to be heartless like them, they apologised and that was it.

For this semester, we would be buying lots of handouts, together with personal expenses which I believe God will take control of. I depend on my sisters and it is the reason I keep praying for them too. I am also glad to join Hive through my sister and will be supporting myself with the little I get from the blockchain.
