Uncertainty (2) : A Freewrite

There was a young woman named Sarah, who had always felt lost and uncertain about her place in the world. She had tried many different jobs and hobbies, but nothing seemed to give her a sense of purpose or fulfillment. She felt like she was just going through the motions of life, without any direction or ambition.

One day, she decided to take a break from her busy city life, and went on a camping trip to a remote national park. She wanted to reconnect with nature and find some peace and solitude.

But things didn't go as planned. On the first night of her trip, she got lost in the woods and was stranded without any food or shelter. She was terrified and didn't know how she was going to survive. But as she lay there, shivering and alone, she realized that this was her chance to find her anchor.

As she lay there, she started to reflect on her life and what truly mattered to her. She realized that she had always been too busy chasing after external validation and superficial goals, and that she had never taken the time to listen to her inner voice.

As she lay there, she started to think about her love for nature, and how she had always felt a connection to the wilderness. She realized that her true anchor was the natural world, and that she wanted to spend her life protecting and preserving it.

The next day, she was rescued by a park ranger, and Sarah went back to her city life with a new sense of direction and purpose. She quit her job and enrolled in a program to become a park ranger. Sarah found her anchor in the most unlikely of places, the wilderness. She felt that she belonged there, in nature, and she felt fulfilled.
