The heart of a believer is extremely important, when we have a heart that is fertile, it would be easy for the word of God to grow, germinate there.
There is a story shared in the Bible about a sower, he was going to plant some seeds and some feel by the road side, some feel on the rock and then some feel on a good and fertile soil. For those seeds who feel on a good and fertile soil, they grew and germinated very well but those that feel on the road and on the soil, they were a waste because they didn’t grow, this story can be likened to the heart of men, when we listen to the word of God, and the heart is a good soil, it would germinate properly.
God promised to give us a good heart, a new heart and a new spirit. God wants all of us to be saved according to 1Tim 2:4, becoming redeemed is a great concern for God.
The Holy Spirit will help us heal, the holy spirit has been in existence since the creation of the world. In Gen1:2, the earth was without form and it was void, darkness covered the face of the deep, the spirit of God moved over the surface of the deep.psalm104:30 also confirmed that the spirit of God is actively involved in creation story.
The holt spirit is capable of helping us have a clean heart, changing our heart from the bad one into a good one. He can transform a heart of rock into a heart of a fertile soil. The Holy Spirit is more than capable to do that.
1Tim:1: 13-15 tells us the story of a strong blasphemer who turns around to become a preacher of the gospel and that is Apostle Paul, imagine how many Christian’s Apostle Paul killed before he turned to Christ and accepted the knowledge of the truth, accepting Gods teaching is extremely necessary and the holy spirit can change the heart of anyone regards of how stubborn they are.
Isolators, fornicators, and everyone that practices evil shall not inherit the kingdom of God, those who practice evil would not see God, but God wants all of us to become his children and that is a reason why he is ready to help us get a change of heart if we are willing to accept him.
