Mass Indoctrination Day Eleven (11) 27/06/2022

Today, we continued with mass Indoctrination day 11 as we continued in the study of the word of God, learning about the way God wants us to behave as Christian’s and the need for us to consistently study the word of God through the teachings of brother Eli and brother Daniel.

In today’s mass Indoctrination, we learnt that God will not force us to do anything, instead, he has given us the choice to make, we can decide to either choose life or death.

I also learnt that, when it comes to giving, we are to give willingly without a grudging heart, we should also learn to give according to our capacity and conscience.
Giving in church is important in order to propagate the gospel and not to enrich the pockets of anyone in the church.,so there should be no fixed price when giving in the church of God, different members of the church have different abilities and giving should be done according to the ability we have. According to 2Cor9:7 Every man according to the decision of his heart, let him give, not grudgingly, but according to his capacity, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Since we are supposed to be cheerful in our attitude of giving, then we should give want we know we can indeed give away, if we give more than we can really afford, then we would not be cheerful doing it.

The giving in the church of God is basically used to spread words, to reach more people and grow the church of God.

Psalm116:18 reminds us of the need to redeem our vows whenever we make them, no one is forcing us to make vows so when we make them, we need to be sincere about them and keep them by fulfilling them.

Thanksgiving is really important and this is one type of offering that is acceptable by God, thanksgiving, giving to the widow and the poor is what God is really happy with.

Heb13:16 We should do good and with sacrifices like this, God is pleased. In everything, we should give thanks according to 1Thes5:18
There are so many things we could be thankful for, life ability to do natural things easily without having to pay for it is a good thing to be thankful for.

Mathew6:3 reminds us of the need to be discreet with our alms giving, when we do one thing with our right hand, our left hand shouldn’t even know about it.

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.

MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
