Nos fuimos de mochileras a la ciudad de Mérida capital del Estado Mérida, ubicada en Venezuela. Está hermosa ciudad es llamada la ciudad de los caballeros, entendimos porque, su gente es muy educada y servicial.

We went backpacking in the city of Merida, capital of Merida State, located in Venezuela. This beautiful city is called the city of gentlemen, we understood why, its people are very polite and helpful.

Arribamos al terminal terrestre de pasajeros, el cual está muy organizado y limpio. Allí preguntamos como llegar al zoológico Chorros de Milla, porque yo quería conocer a Coco, un oso frontino muy famoso por las redes sociales y bueno nos pusimos en marcha...

We arrived at the passenger terminal, which is very organized and clean. There we asked how to get to the zoo Chorros de Milla, because I wanted to meet Coco, a very famous spectacled bear by social networks and well we set off...

Él es coco, un oso frontino, muy amigable y hermoso.Yo lo Amo, y pues espero poder colaborar con el apadrinamiento de ellos (el apadrinamiento nos dijeron que es un programa de financiamiento para lograr conseguir alimentos y medicinas para cada uno de los animales que en este zoológico se encuentran). Es importante destacar que el oso frontino es una especie en peligro de extinción.

En nuestra visita al zoológico hicimos contacto con una agencia de tours para que nos hiciera un recorrido por el páramo, el cual se realizó al otro día a las 7:00 am, debíamos estar al frente del terminal para tomar el transporte.

He is coco, a very friendly and beautiful spectacled bear, I love him, and I hope to be able to collaborate with the sponsorship of them (the sponsorship we were told is a funding program to get food and medicine for each of the animals in this zoo). It is important to note that the spectacled bear is an endangered species.

During our visit to the zoo we made contact with a tour agency to make us a tour of the moor, which took place the next day at 7:00 am, we had to be in front of the terminal to take the transport.

La laguna de Mucubají situada a unos 3600 metros sobre el nivel del mar aproximadamente, nos brindó un hermoso espectáculo, con neblinas y mucho frío, quedamos enamoradas de este lugar.

The Mucubají Lagoon, located at approximately 3600 meters above sea level, offered us a beautiful spectacle, with mist and cold, we fell in love with this place.

La naturaleza sorprendiendonos cada día más, este arbol está totalmente caído y aún así sigue vivo, dándonos un gran ejemplo.

Nature surprises us more and more every day, this tree is totally fallen and yet it is still alive, giving us a great example.

En uno de los pueblos, nos encontramos está manada de perros, nos impresionó su belleza y nos detuvimos a darles algo de comida.

In one of the villages, we came across this pack of dogs, we were impressed by their beauty and stopped to give them some food.

Llegamos al Parque Nacional Sierra La Culata, abajo observamos la carretera, impresionante esta vista.

We arrived at the Sierra La Culata National Park, down the road, impressive view.

Este parque, esta a una altura de aproximadamente 4800 msnm, el frío era impresionante, creímos que a mi hermana por ser asmatica podía afectarle su salud, Gracias a Dios no fue así.

This park is at an altitude of approximately 4800 meters above sea level, the cold was impressive, we thought that my sister being asthmatic could affect her health, thank God it did not.

En estas fotos los rayos de sol y la neblina hicieron un juego de luces, que convirtieron al lugar en algo mágico a nuestro alrededor.

In these photos the sun rays and the mist made a play of light, which turned the place into something magical around us.
