I hope you are doing well ❤️ I am returning right now to my residence in the city of Barquisimeto 🤣 as I told you on Saturday, my Easter vacations are officially over and as a good foreigner it was time to pack my bags back to the city and back to the routine or to reality 🤣. But I really had a great time these vacations being honest, since I am a foreigner I have learned to appreciate more the holy week and the holidays that are more extensive, before not so much, of course I was all the time at home, but now that I spend more time in the city, these days of rest serve me to disconnect a little from my reality, work and university and also at the same time see my family, especially my dad and my mom.

These vacations I really didn't have a lot of mood (or budget🤣) to do many things, I just wanted to rest from the chores I do here in the city and at the university, plus I had more than 3 months without seeing my parents, since February when they arrived from their trip to Colombia I didn't see them, so it was a great opportunity to spend quality time with them. The first one I visited was my dad, he lives far away from the outskirts of the city-village (that's what I call him 🤣) where my mom lives, so I had to take a car from the terminal with what I was carrying, the good thing is that it is direct to there. All in all we had a great time, my dad and I are very talkative people so most of it was telling stories and catching up on our stuff and exchanging gossip 🤣 plus going for walks around the area where he lives.

The other part that I like to visit him aside from the company just like my mom, is the food 🤤 really one living alone you make a lot of food that is scrumptious but nothing like your parents food 🤤 and my dad cooks very well 🤣 and he knows that I eat quite a bit and at that amount he cooked, the funny thing is that my dad lives in an apt with direct gas but we are remodeling and we are going to put a new stove that is already there but it lacks a piece to install it, so we cook with electric stove and guess who the light was out every day🤣 and well, sometimes the food was half cooked or we asked for help to the neighbors, but those moments gave me a lot of laughter having the gas stove without being able to use it 🤭.

From Wednesday onwards it was time to visit my mom's house, because since both of them live apart and I don't see them for the same amount of time, I decided to divide the week to stay some days with my dad and others with my mom, so on Wednesday I went to my mom's house to spend the rest of the week. My mom as well as my dad was excellent, even here I could eat the traditional dishes of holy week like fish and grated fish 🤤 I could also share some anecdotes and catch up with my mom and gossip of course🤣 and here in particular is where they take care of my cat daughter Lilith, so it was also a few days where I recharged me with their cat love 🥺.

Espero se encuentren muy bien ❤️ yo regresando ahorita mismo a mi residencia en la ciudad de Barquisimeto 🤣 como les dije el sábado, ya mis vacaciones de Semana Santa oficialmente terminaron y como buen foráneo tocó empacar mis maletas de regreso a la ciudad y de vuelta a la rutina o a la realidad 🤣. Pero de verdad que me la pasé muy bien estás vacaciones siendo honestos, desde que soy foráneo he aprendido a apreciar más la semana santa y los días así feriados que son más extensos, antes no tanto, claro estaba todo el tiempo en mi casa, pero ahora que me la paso más en la ciudad, estos días de descanso me sirven para desconectarme un poco de mi realidad, trabajo y universidad y también a la vez ver a mi familia, sobre todo a mi papá y a mi mama.

Estás vacaciones de verdad no tenía muchos ánimos (ni presupuesto🤣) de hacer muchas cosas, solo quería descansar de los quehaceres que hago aquí en la ciudad y a la universidad, sumado a que tenía más de 3 meses sin ver a mis padres, desde febrero que llegaron de su viaje a Colombia no los veía, así que fue una gran oportunidad para pasar tiempo de calidad con ellos. Al primero que visité fue a mi papá, vive lejos afueras ciudad-pueblo (así le digo 🤣) dónde vive mi mamá, así que me tocó agarrar un carro desde el terminal con lo que llevaba, lo bueno es que eso es directo hacia allá. En resumidas cuentas la pasamos muy bien, mi papá y yo somos personas muy habladoras así que la mayor parte fue echar cuentos y ponernos al día con nuestras cosas e intercambiar chismes 🤣 además de salir a caminar por la zona donde el vive.

La otra parte que me gusta visitarlo aparte de la compañía al igual que mi mamá, es la comida 🤤 de verdad uno viviendo solo se hace mucha comida que le queda riquísima pero nada como la comida de tus padres 🤤 y mi papá cocina muy bien 🤣 y sabe que yo como bastante y a esa cantidad cocinaba, lo chistoso es que mi papa vive a un apto con gas directo pero estamos remodelando y vamos a colocar una cocina nueva que ya está allí pero le falta una pieza para instalarla, así que cocinamos con cocina eléctrica y adivinen quien se le iba la luz todos los días🤣 y bueno, a veces la comida quedaba a medio cocinar o le pedíamos ayuda a los vecinos, pero esos momentos me daban mucha risa teniendo la cocina de gas sin poder usarla 🤭

Ya a partir del miércoles tocó visitar la casa de mi mamá, porque debido a que ambos viven separados y ambos tengo el mismo tiempo sin verlos, decidí dividir la semana de quedar unos días con mi papá y otros con mi mamá, así que el miércoles me fui a la casa de mi mamá a pasar el resto de la semana santa. Mi mamá al igual que mi papá me fue excelente, incluso aquí pude comer los platos tradicionales de semana santa como pescado y pescado rallado 🤤 también pude compartir algunas anécdotas y ponerme al día con mi mamá y chismear claro🤣 y aquí en particular es donde me cuidan a mi hija gatuna Lilith, así que también fueron unos días donde me recargue de su amor gatuno 🥺
