Mi reseña sobre La Casa de Papel💰⚖️-My review of La Casa de Papel💰⚖️

Esta vez le toca una reseña a una de las series que me entretuvo por bastante tiempo (2 semanas😂) en cuarentena. Les seré honesto yo vi la casa de papel súper tarde, había oído de ella pero nunca me dispuse a verla, hasta en el 2020 que llego la tragedia de la cuarentena y al tener mucho tiempo libre empecé a ver muchas series de moda y así fue como termine viendo esta serie que literal me la termine en dos semanas de lo mucho que me engancho, que ahora prácticamente soy fan número 1 de la casa de papel.

This time it's my turn to review one of the series that entertained me for a long time (2 weeks😂) in quarantine. I'll be honest I saw la casa de papel super late, I had heard about it but never set out to see it, until 2020 when the tragedy of the quarantine came and having a lot of free time I started watching many fashion series and that's how I ended up watching this series that I literally finished it in two weeks of how much I hooked me, that now I'm practically number 1 fan of la casa de papel.

La casa de papel está compuesta de 5 temporadas pero se divide en dos arcos, el primero que serían la temporada 1 y la 2 que es el atraco a la fábrica nacional de moneda y timbre y el segundo arco como secuela que sería la temporada 3 a la 5 que es el atraco al banco nacional de España. En esta reseña les comentare solo de las primeras dos temporadas.

La casa de papel is composed of 5 seasons but it is divided into two arcs, the first one which would be season 1 and 2 which is the heist to the national mint and stamp and the second arc as a sequel which would be season 3 to 5 which is the heist to the national bank of Spain. In this review I will comment only on the first two seasons.

En esta historia se basaba en 8 famosos atracadores con un historial delictivo muy destacable, que son buscados por las autoridades de España. Hasta que son contactados por una misteriosa persona que se hace llamar “El Profesor” que los invita a realizar un gran atraco garantizándoles que no necesitaran robar ni trabajar más nunca en su vida, ya que planea robar nada más y nada menos que la fábrica nacional de moneda y timbre. El atraco consiste en durar 7 días en cuartelados tomando la fábrica nacional de moneda y generar hasta más de 2.500 mil millones de euros sin rastrear, para ello El Profesor crea un plan estratégico de inicio a fin que según él si se seguí al pie de la letra el atraco será un éxito y podrán salir ilesos de la fábrica nacional. Para mantener su identidad a salvo El Profesor les pide que ahora en adelante se dirijan a cada uno con nombres de ciudad como “Tokio” como una de las protagonistas principales y narradora de la historia, los otros integrantes son “Denver” “Río” “Helsinki” “Nairobi” “Moscú” “Oslo” y “Berlín” quien es el líder de la banda. El profesor cuanta con cada una de las cualidades especiales de sus atracadores para que su plan tenga éxito ya que está diseñado estrictamente para esas cualidades. Pero la banda no tendrá este juego sencillo, las autoridades de España harán todo lo posible para atraparlos y contactan a la inspectora Raquel Murillo para que los ayude con su vasta experiencia.

In this story it was based on 8 famous robbers with a very remarkable criminal record, who are wanted by the authorities in Spain. Until they are contacted by a mysterious person who calls himself "The Professor" who invites them to carry out a big heist guaranteeing them that they will never need to steal or work again in their lives, as he plans to rob nothing more and nothing less than the national mint and stamp factory. The heist consists of lasting 7 days in barracks taking the national mint and generate up to more than 2,500 billion euros untraced, for it The Professor creates a strategic plan from start to finish that according to him if followed to the letter the heist will be a success and may leave unharmed from the national factory. To keep their identity safe The Professor asks them to address each other with city names like "Tokyo" as one of the main protagonists and narrator of the story, the other members are "Denver" "Rio" "Helsinki" "Nairobi" "Moscow" "Oslo" and "Berlin" who is the leader of the gang. The professor is counting on each of the special qualities of his robbers for his plan to succeed as it is designed strictly for those qualities. But the gang will not have this game easy, the authorities in Spain will do everything possible to catch them and they contact the inspector Raquel Murillo to help them with her vast experience.

Como en cada reseña les ofrezco mi análisis personal de los personajes que dan relevancia o son esenciales para la trama.

As in every review, I offer you my personal analysis of the characters that are relevant or essential to the plot.

• El Profesor: Sin duda alguna mi personaje favorito de toda la serie, es prácticamente imposible saber las verdaderas intenciones de este sujeto sino hasta el final. No da ningún indicio de que si es bueno, malo, le da igual las cosas o si tendrá alguna cualidad que lo caracterice aparte de ser sumamente inteligente y calculador. Es que básicamente El Profesor podría ser ese individuo que nadie nota o que resalte en la sociedad, pero que en silencio mueve todos los hilos para que sus objetivos se den sin ningún problema y que a la hora de actuar no sabes realmente que o quien es, además de los integrantes de la banda, él es el único que al ser la mente maestra, no existe para los ojos de los demás.

The Professor: Without a doubt my favorite character of the whole series, it is practically impossible to know the true intentions of this guy until the end. He gives no indication of whether he is good, bad, doesn't care about things or if he will have any qualities that characterize him other than being extremely intelligent and calculating. Basically, The Professor could be that individual that nobody notices or that stands out in society, but who silently pulls all the strings to achieve his goals without any problem and that when it comes to acting you don't really know who or what he is, besides the members of the gang, he is the only one who, being the mastermind, does not exist for the eyes of others.

• Tokio: Dios mío Tokio como te odio y como a veces me caes bien pero es porque es una mujer que los ovarios le pesan, no le tiene miedo a casi nada y aparte es una buena combatiendo e improvisando. Su impulsividad es algo que la caracteriza, no piensa muy bien las cosas antes de actuar y sin tomar en cuenta como esto afecta a los demás. Toma las decisiones muy emocionalmente lo que genera constantes problemas al plan del profesor y al desarrollo del atraco. Sin embargo su personalidad fiera e impulsiva la hace una buena integrante para desarrollar el atraco pero no como líder.

Tokio: My God Tokio how I hate you and how sometimes I like you but it's because she's a woman whose ovaries weigh her down, she's not afraid of almost anything and besides she's a good fighter and improviser. Her impulsiveness is something that characterizes her, she does not think things through before acting and without taking into account how this affects others. She makes decisions very emotionally which generates constant problems to the professor's plan and to the development of the heist. However, her fierce and impulsive personality makes her a good member to develop the heist but not as a leader.

• Nairobi: Sin duda uno de mis personajes femeninos favoritos, todo lo contrario a Tokio, Nairobi aparte de tener sus cualidades es menos impulsiva y piensa con un poco más de claridad para hacer las cosas. Su actitud alocada y alegre hace que los demás se contagien de ese clima que motiva tanto a la banda como a los rehenes en la fábrica.

Nairobi: Undoubtedly one of my favorite female characters, quite the opposite of Tokio, Nairobi apart from having her qualities is less impulsive and thinks a little more clearly to do things. Her crazy and cheerful attitude makes the others get infected by this climate that motivates both the gang and the hostages in the factory.

• Denver: Prácticamente la imagen de Tokio en versión hombre pero más inmaduro y más explosivo. Básicamente Denver es el brabucón del colegio, todo lo resuelve a golpe y su lenguaje es que las cosas sean sencillas y sino pues lo resuelve con violencia. Lo bueno es que en el trascurso de la serie su inteligencia y capacidad de razonar por si sola aumenta, lo que es beneficioso para el grupo.

Denver: Practically the image of Tokio in male version but more immature and more explosive. Basically Denver is the bully of the school, he solves everything with a blow and his language is that things are simple and if not, he solves them with violence. The good thing is that in the course of the series his intelligence and ability to reason on his own increases, which is beneficial for the group.

• Helsinki: Es la persona fuerte, musculosa con una apariencia ruda y fuerte ante los demás, como una experiencia militar y además extranjero, pero fuera de las apariencias es alguien tranquilo, que solo busca hacer su trabajo y es muy leal a sus compañeros y respeta la jerarquía de quien da las ordenas. Es una persona que es imposible odiarlo durante toda la trama.

Helsinki: He is the strong, muscular person with a tough and strong appearance to others, as a military experience and also a foreigner, but outside appearances is someone quiet, just looking to do his job and is very loyal to his teammates and respects the hierarchy of who gives orders. He is a person who is impossible to hate throughout the plot.

• Río: Es la persona que de haber tomado mejores decisiones podría haber terminado sus estudios, entrar en una buena universidad y además incluso hacer doctorados en ciencia, pero prefirió elegir la vida “fácil” como atracador, y es que a Río a diferencia de los demás no cuenta con fuerza, experiencia en peleas o con armas, liderazgo, sino que es una persona sumamente inteligente que es uno de los mejores hacker que cuenta el profesor, sabe descifrar hasta el más mínimo código encriptado y poder meterse a la base de datos de cualquier sistema. Lo único en contra de él es su infantilismo e inmadurez que casi hace que El Profesor no lo tome en cuenta para meterse en la fábrica de moneda.

Rio: He is the person who, if he had made better decisions, could have finished his studies, entered a good university, and even got a doctorate in science, but he preferred to choose the "easy" life as a robber, and the fact is that Rio, unlike the others, does not have strength, experience in fights or with weapons, leadership, but he is an extremely intelligent person who is one of the best hackers that the Professor has, he knows how to decipher even the smallest encrypted code and can get into the database of any system. The only thing against him is his childishness and immaturity that almost makes The Professor not to take him into account to get into the mint.

• Berlín: Sería una falta de respeto a la serie si no hablara del personaje de Berlín que con su actuación se robó la atención de muchos espectadores, diría que encaja perfectamente en el rol de una persona con un trastorno de personalidad narcisista, es elocuente, nada superficial, le gusta sobrestimar sus habilidades y acciones y subestimar las de los demás, cree que no todo mundo está a su altura pero respeta y es leal a quienes aprecia y considera parte de su círculo. Es carente de toda afectividad o recompensa hacia sus subordinados y prefiere que mil veces los demás hagan el trabajo sucio para no manchar su imagen o moral. Es una persona con una filosofía de vida particular, filosofa sobre lo que vive pero lo lleva acabo de una forma que es perjudicial para el que este con él y cree que sus acciones son un signo de rebeldía contra el sistema que se aprovecha de los demás desde el marco legal. Una persona exacta para liderar a la banda y que su personaje tiene mucha significancia incluso en las demás entregas en las siguientes temporadas.

Berlin: It would be disrespectful to the series if I didn't talk about Berlin's character who with his performance stole the attention of many viewers, I would say that he fits perfectly in the role of a person with a narcissistic personality disorder, he is eloquent, not superficial at all, he likes to overestimate his abilities and actions and underestimate those of others, he believes that not everyone is up to his level but he respects and is loyal to those he appreciates and considers part of his circle. He lacks any affection or reward towards his subordinates and prefers that others do the dirty work a thousand times over so as not to tarnish his image or morale. He is a person with a particular philosophy of life, he philosophizes about what he lives but carries it out in a way that is detrimental to those who are with him and believes that his actions are a sign of rebellion against the system that takes advantage of others from the legal framework. An exact person to lead the gang and that his character has a lot of significance even in the other installments in the following seasons.

• Raquel Murillo: La inspectora Raquel va hacer la piedra en los zapatos del profesor, pudiendo descifrar algunos de sus técnicas y planes y poder anticiparse en ello, ya que cuenta con una inteligencia e intuición muy perspicaz y a la vez poco común entre las personas. Lamentablemente para Raquel su trabajo en la captura del profesor aparte intrigarla la tendrá difícil debido a los problemas personales que está a travesando en ese momento. Su papel como una de las principales antagonistas para El Profesor y su banda me parece muy bueno.

Raquel Murillo: Inspector Raquel will be the rock in the professor's shoes, being able to decipher some of his techniques and plans and to anticipate it, as it has an intelligence and intuition very insightful and at the same time uncommon among people. Unfortunately for Raquel, her work in the capture of the professor, apart from intriguing her, will be difficult due to the personal problems she is going through at that moment. Her role as one of the main antagonists for The Professor and his gang seems very good to me.

Sin duda una serie para entretenerse y pasar el rato, diría que en promedio serviría para distraerse aunque sea una semana. No genera aburrimiento y las tramas están muy sincronizadas de manera que el espectador no se pierde en la historia y sabe lo que está sucediendo. Algo que si hay que recalcar es que la serie está lleno de surrealismo, no por lo que sucede como el atraco, las peleas, los errores y las situaciones que se ven involucrados los personajes, ya que son escenarios que pueden ocurrir fuera de la pantalla, lo que es surreal es COMO ocurren o suceden las cosas, con elementos u acciones que son prácticamente imposible de realizar en la vida real, como también es el hecho de armar un robo tan grande con una persona que tiene todo calculado y los recursos para realizarlos pero en el ambiento o en el contexto en que lo ponen es poco real que eso suceda así, pero a opinión personal es una serie propiamente dicho en que se puede jugar con lo real y lo que realmente en la vida real no pasaría, y no lo considero algo en que pueda incomodarme.

Undoubtedly a series to entertain and pass the time, I would say that on average it would serve to distract even a week. It does not generate boredom and the plots are very synchronized so that the viewer does not get lost in the story and knows what is happening. Something that must be emphasized is that the series is full of surrealism, not because of what happens such as the heist, the fights, the mistakes and the situations that the characters are involved, since they are scenarios that can occur off screen, what is surreal is HOW things happen, with elements or actions that are practically impossible to perform in real life, as well as the fact of putting together such a big robbery with a person who has everything calculated and the resources to carry it out but in the environment or in the context in which they put it is unreal that it happens that way, but in my personal opinion it is a series itself in which you can play with what is real and what really in real life would not happen, and I do not consider it something that can make me uncomfortable.

Aunque no es lo surreal de la serie lo que a mi parece que enganche sino el drama y el desarrollo de los personajes involucrados en el atraco, los conflictos que se generan y la solución que uno imagina que podría tener o desenlace de cada capítulo, que deja una zozobra de que pasara en el siguiente.

Although it is not the surrealism of the series that seems to hook me but the drama and the development of the characters involved in the heist, the conflicts that are generated and the solution that one imagines that could have or outcome of each chapter, which leaves a dread of what will happen in the next.
