Free Basket Gown.
Good morning, lovely people On this wonderful @needleworkmonday, platform, Happy New week +Happy New Month .

Showcasing my weekend style, basket free gown that I slay in Yesterday. Yesterday was the last Sunday of the month and our church choir’s anniversary, so I went fresh & free .

Here’s how I cut and sewed this lovely free gown.
Requirements needed ÷
Measuring tape
Pattern paper
Chalk
Fabrics
Straight ruler
Measurement.
After getting all the requirements ready, we are starting by folding our fabric into four then measured out our body measurement on the fabrics.
After measuring out the real measurement I add extra two inches for free and two inches for allowances make additional four.

We can label out the area part our basket will be as it was show in the picture above, then cut out the fabrics.

Before I go further, let me explain more about the neck side I measured my neck width and neck depth out, before adding extra 3 inches round again, the extra 3 inches will be where my basket will be located at the neck.

Then after separation, I cut out 1.5 inches for taping

Then place my numbered fabrics on my patter an d cut it out then I added extra half in for allowances both and cut out my pattern and rule out 1.5 inches both the breath and length side

After that you start taping through the lines.

All pattern undergoes the same process till you finishe, taped all erges as well

Then you join, for the neck part, you can first taped round with pin to hold due to how curve it looks others are straight forwards

After tru with the procedure, you closed it up from hand down till your full length (normal closing) then removed or tier all the pattern paper.

That is all just press and give it a better finishing.
Pls am still a learner, corrections are allowed. Thanks.
This is lovely, you rock it well
The final result is great. It is elegant and beautiful. Love its design and color. Great job!
