A beautiful city, you have to visit this lovely city: Van (eng-tr)

Hello dear ladies and gentlemen,

How are you? Is everything ok? I'm better :) I decided to take time for myself and be nice to myself. For example, I get unnecessary people out of my life.
Anyway. I will tell you about my trip to my hometown last summer in this post. The name of my hometown is Van. The city of Van is in eastern Turkey. The largest lake in the country is located in this city; Van Lake.

Her neyse. Bu paylaşımda size geçen yaz memleketime yaptığım geziyi anlatacağım. Memleketimin adı Van. Van şehri Türkiye'nin doğusunda bulunan bir şehir. Ülkenin en büyük gölü bu şehirde bulunuyor; Van Gölü.

If you want to watch the sunset, this city is for you. Or if you're going to go to the beach whenever you want, this is the city for you. It is not as crowded as the big cities. There are walking areas where you can take a walk on the beach whenever you find the time. Or did you want to swim? Let's go to Van :)

The water of Lake Van is soda. It won't be nice to swallow the lake water while swimming accidentally because the water has a sour taste. However, lake water is perfect for your skin. Your skin becomes soft. You have to wash with clean water right after getting out of the water. Otherwise, there may be traces of soda on your skin :)

Güneşin batışını izlemek isterseniz bu şehir tam size göre. Ya da her istediğinizde sahile inmek isterseniz burası yine tam size göre bir şehir. Büyükşehirler kadar kalabalık ve yorucu değil. Her vakit bulduğunuzda sahilde yürüyüş yapabileceğiniz alanlar mevcut. Ya da canınız yüzmek mi istedi. Buyurun Van'a gidelim :)
Van Gölü'nün suyu sodalı. Yüzdüğünüzde yanlışlıkla göl suyunu yutarsanız çok kötü olur. Suyun kötü bir tadı var çünkü. Ancak, göl suyu cildinize çok iyi geliyor. Yumuşacık oluyor cildiniz. Sudan çıktıktan hemen sonra temiz suyla yıkanmanız gerekiyor yalnız, yoksa cildinizde soda izleri kalabilir :)

Van has many special symbols. Van Breakfast, Van Lake, and Van Cat. Yes, Van's cat is also famous. The most prominent feature distinguishing the Van Cat from other cats is its eyes' different colors. One eye may be green, the other yellow or one eye may be blue while the other may yellow. And Van cats love water, and they love to swim. As you can see in the photo below, you may encounter a giant cat statue when you come to Van.

Van'ın birçok özel simgesi var. Van Kahvaltısı, Van Gölü ve Van Kedisi. Evet Van'ın kedisi de meşhur. Van Kedisini diğer kedilerden ayıran en büyük özellik gözlerinin farklı renklerde olması. Bir göz yeşil diğer göz sarı ya da bir göz mavi iken diğer göz sarı olabiliyor. Ve Van kedileri suyu çok seviyor, yüzmeye bayılırlar. Aşağıdaki fotoğrafta da gördüğünüz gibi Van'a geldiğinizde devasa bir kedi heykeli ile karşılaşabilirsiniz.

Van is relatively cheaper than many big cities. You can see fruit or vegetable sellers in the middle of the street. The products sold here are slightly more affordable than in the markets. I said above that Van Breakfast is also famous. The most important thing that makes this breakfast famous is cheese. This cheese, which we call "Herbed Cheese," contains unique plants. You can easily find these cheeses in the cheese market, which has many varieties.

Van birçok büyük şehre göre nispeten daha ucuz. Sokak ortasında meyve ya da sebze satıcıları görebilirsiniz. Burada satılan ürünler marketlere göre biraz daha ucuz. Yukarıda Van Kahvaltısının da meşhur olduğunu söylemiştim. Bu kahvaltıyı meşhur yapan en önemli şey peynir. "Otlu Peynir" olarak adlandırdığımız bu peynirin içinde özel bitkiler yer alıyor. Birçok çeşidi olan bu peynirleri peynirciler çarşısından rahatlıkla bulabilirsiniz.

The school in the photo below is my high school. I went to this school between 2003-2005. I spent some of my best years here. I visit my school whenever I go to Van. It was destroyed after the 2011 Van earthquake, and a new one was built, but it is still my school.
When I go to my city, I meet my friends and cousins. I grew up in a large family. Family ties are significant to me. As cousins, we visit each other often. My cousins and I are in the last photo.

Aşağıdaki fotoğrafta yer alan okul benim gittiğim lise. Ben liseyi 2003-2005 yılları arasında burada okudum. En güzel yıllarımdan bazısını burada geçirdim. Her Van'a gidişimde okulumu ziyaret ediyorum. 2011 Van depreminden sonra yıkıldı yerine yenisi yapıldı ama orası hala benim okulum.
Van'a her gittiğimde arkadaşlarım ve kuzenlerimle de buluşurum. Ben kalabalık bir ailede büyüdüm. Aile bağları benim için çok önemlidir. Kuzenler olarak birbirimizi sık sık ziyaret ederiz. En sonda yer alan fotoğrafta da kuzenlerim ve ben varız.
