How was your last two weeks? First part of November 🌸(eng-tr)

Hello dear friends,

How are you doing? We left the second week of November behind. I would like to share my last two weeks with you through this post. This is my first post in this #community. Nowadays, especially on Instagram, at the beginning of each new month, posts from the previous month are made. I did it a few times but then I didn't enjoy it. I did it once here too, but it didn't continue. So I decided to try this way. I decided to create content with photos from the first 12 days of November. I will briefly tell the story of each photo. I hope you like it :)

Nasılsınız? Kasım ayının ikinci haftasını geride bıraktık. Bu post aracılığıyla sizinle son iki haftamı paylaşmak istiyorum. Bu topluluktaki ilk paylaşımım. Şu aralar özellikle instagramda her yeni ayın başında bir önceki aya ait paylaşımlar yapılıyor. Ben de birkaç kez yaptım ama sonra keyif almadım bu durumdan. Burada da bir kez yapmıştım ama devamı gelmedi. Ben de böyle bir yol denemeyi tercih ettim. Kasım ayının ilk 12 gününe ait fotoğraflarıyla içerik oluşturmaya karar verdim. Her bir fotoğrafın hikayesini kısa kısa anlatacağım. Umarım beğenirsiniz :)

I am the general coordinator of a company engaged in international trade. We started with sportswear and added tourism activities to our structure. We also received our agency license from Tursab. Our registered name in the system; WARSEY Tourism travel agency. As you can see in the photo, we also host our guests in our office. These guests came for health tourism. Our friends working in our tourism department took care of our guests.

Uluslararası ticaret yapan bir firmada genel koordinatörlük yapıyorum. Spor giyimiyle başladık turizm faaliyetlerini de bünyemize ekledik. Tursab'dan acenta ruhsatımızı da aldık. Sistemde kayıtlı ismimiz; WARSEY Turizm seyahat acentası. Fotoğrafta da anlaşılacağı üzere misafirlerimizi ofisimizde de ağırlıyoruz. Bu misafirlerimiz sağlık turizmi için geldiler. Turizm departmanımızda çalışan arkadaşlarımız misafirlerimizle ilgilendiler.

I took this photo in Beşiktaş, the most beautiful district of Istanbul. The place where I took the photo is one of the areas where Beşiktaş #football team fans gather before the match. The symbol of the Beşiktaş team is the Eagle and I took the photo in front of the #Eagle statue. That day we went to eat #sushi with friends. If you remember, I made a separate post about that day. There was also an online conference that day and I had to listen to it. I had the opportunity to listen to the conference while eating sushi and walking around the streets of Beşiktaş.

Bu fotoğrafı da İstanbul'un en güzel ilçesi olan Beşiktaş'ta çektim. Fotoğrafı çektiğim yer Beşiktaş futbol takım taraftarlarının maç öncesi toplandığı alanlardan biri. Beşiktaş takımının simgesi Kartal ve ben de fotoğrafı Kartal heykelinin önünde çektim. O gün arkadaşlarla sushi yemeğe gitmiştik. O günle ilgili ayrı bir paylaşım da yaptım hatırlarsanız. O gün ayrıca online bir konferans vardı ve o konferansı dinlemem gerekiyordu. Hem sushi yerken hem de Beşiktaş sokaklarında dolaşırken konferansı da dinleme fırsatım oldu.

This photo is from that night. As you may know, Rahmi Koç, one of the richest men in Turkey, is a Beşiktaş fan. Everyone knows his support for Beşiktaş and this wall image is a gift to him.

This is a photo from the workshop where our sportswear is produced. The person standing on my left is my cousin. In fact, he (@favian ) used to post on Hive, but he seems to be on a break right now. The others are friends from production. Although it is #November, I can walk around in slippers at work. I wonder if those who say "there is no #climate crisis" are here :)

Diğerleri de üretimden arkadaşlar. Kasım ayı olmasına rağmen iş yerinde terlikle dolaşabiliyorum. "İklim krizi yok" diyenler burada mı acaba :)

A photo I took on my way to Eminönü to get our #tourism license. I love mosques with this kind of #architecture.

#Turizm ruhsatımızı almak için Eminönü'ne giderken çektiğim bir fotoğraf. Bu tarz mimariye sahip camileri çok seviyorum.

We invited the guests of our tourism department for dinner. It was a very pleasant evening for all of us. The person standing on my left is my uncle. My uncle and Mr. Ashraf (who is Tunisian) are partners of our company. Although my uncle does not speak #English, the two of them get along very well.

Turizm departmanımızın misafirlerini akşam yemeğine davet ettik. Çok keyifli bir akşam oldu hepimiz için. Solumda duran kişi dayım. Dayım ve karşısında duran Eşref bey (kendisi Tunuslu) şirketimizin ortakları. Dayım İngilizce bilmediği halde ikisi çok iyi anlaşıyor.

When I was in Eminönü, I wanted to have a cup of tea. Because it was hot, I drank tea on the stools placed outside. What I feel at such moments is different for me.

Eminönü'ndeyken bir çay içmek istedim. Hava sıcak olduğu için dışarıya konulan taburelerde çay içtim. Böyle anlarda hissettiklerim benim için bir başkadır.

Does anyone know what this is? This is dried #mango. Our guests from #BurkinaFaso brought it. Until now, I've usually seen dried apples or pears. I like the taste of dried mango and I recommend it to you.

Bunun ne olduğunu bilen var mı aranızda? Bu kurutulmuş mango. Burkina Faso'dan gelen misafirlerimiz getirdi. Ben şu ana dek genelde elma ya da armut kurusu gördüm. Kurutulmuş mango tadını beğendim size de tavsiye ediyorum.

This is the cat from our building. It was sleeping in front of an apartment at the entrance of the building. I watched the cat to my heart's content while waiting for the elevator.

Bu da bizim binanın kedisi. Bina girişindeki bir dairenin önünde uyuyordu. Asansöre binmek için beklerken kediyi doyasıya seyrettim.

I have been trying to write my master's #thesis for the last few months. I have very little time left and I will present my thesis in two months. I am both scared and happy that it will be finished. During the #week I am too busy to look at the thesis. On #weekends I go to the #school #library and study. A friend from the department also comes to the library. When we take a break from studying, we go to such places and relax.

Son birkaç aydır yüksek lisans tezimi yazmaya çalışıyorum. Çok az zamanım kaldı ve tezimi iki ay sonra sunacağım. Hem korkuyorum hem de biteceği için mutluyum. Hafta içinde çok yoğun olduğum için teze bakamıyorum. Hafta sonları okulun kütüphanesine gidip ders çalışıyorum. Bölümden bir arkadaşım da geliyor kütüphaneye. Ders çalışmaya ara verdiğimizde bu tarz yerlere gidip dinleniyoruz.

Lately, when I go to a café with my friends, if I'm hungry, I ask for menemen. My friends are surprised by this, but I think that menemen can be eaten not only for breakfast but for every meal of the day. I didn't like this menemen you see in the photo. From now on, I will prefer places that make it better.

Son zamanlarda arkadaşlarımla kafeye gittiğimizde eğer acıkmışsam menemen istiyorum. Arkadaşlarım bu duruma şaşırıyor ama ben menemenin yalnızca kahvaltıda değil günün her öğünü yenebileceğini düşünüyorum. Fotoğrafta gördüğünüz bu menemeni beğenmemiştim. Bundan sonra daha güzel yapan yerleri tercih edeceğim.

We had a chip #party with my colleagues at work. On some days when things are not busy, we do crazy activities like this :)

İş yerindeki çalışan arkadaşlarla cips partisi yaptık. İşlerin yoğun olmadığı bazı günlerde bu tarz çılgınca etkinlikler yapıyoruz :)

Do you ever look up at the sky or the trees? You should. When I look at the sky, I find peace there. Look at the sky whenever you think of it.

Kafanızı kaldırıp gökyüzüne ya da ağaçlara bakıyor musunuz hiç? Bakmalısınız. Gökyüzüne baktığımda huzuru orada buluyorum. Sizde aklınıza geldikçe gökyüzüne bakın.

Çikolata zamanı :) Arkadaşım bize ikram etti ama ikram etmeden önce birkaç fotoğraf çekmeyi ihmal etmedi.

One weekday I left work early and went to school. I studied for a few hours in the room of a friend who was a teaching assistant at the school. I came here almost every day before I started working. I wrote part of my thesis here productively.

Hafta içi bir gün işyerinden erken çıkıp okula gittim. Okulda asistan olan bir arkadaşımın odasında birkaç saat ders çalıştım. İşe başlamadan önce neredeyse her gün gelirdim buraya. Burada verimli bir şekilde tezimin bir kısmını yazdım.

I ate the chocolates offered by my friend with tea. I liked the taste very much, I hope he will do it again :)

Arkadaşımın ikram ettiği çikolataları çay eşliğinde yedim. tadını çok beğendim, umarım bunu bir kez daha yapar :)

I took this selfie today :) I'm in the school library and I have to study but I'm writing this post :)

Bu selfiyi bugün çektim :) Şu an okulun kütüphanesindeyim ve ders çalışmama gerekiyor ama ben bu postu yazıyorum :)

Have you ever had soup in the morning instead of #breakfast? What you see here is all soup. My uncle took us to a soup shop one morning. What I saw was amazing. There were about 25 kinds of soup.

Sabah kahvaltı yerine çorba içtiniz mi hiç? Burada gördüklerinizin hepsi çorba. Dayım bir sabah bizi çorbacıya götürdü. Karşılaştığım manzara harikaydı. Yaklaşık 25 çeşit çorba vardı.

We preferred this soup, I can't remember the name of it right now. While I was drinking this soup, my mind stayed on the others. The #taste of the soup was great.

Biz bu çorbayı tercih ettik, adını şu an hatırlayamıyorum. Bu çorbayı içerken aklım diğerlerinde kaldı. İçtiğim çorbanın tadı harikaydı.

After we had our #soups, we had a cup of #tea and went to work. I want to go to that soup shop one more time.

Çorbalarımızı içtikten sonra birer bardak çay içip işe gittik. O çorbacıya birkez daha gitmek istiyorum.

I tried to summarize what I have been going through for the last two weeks. I hope you had fun reading it.
